The Unusual Pet Vets is the only place I will take my baby. All of the staff, especially Shelby and Teagan are so kind and caring. They treat your pets as their own and are so professional. My lizard has undergone 3 major surgeries and I have always felt comfortable leaving her under the teams expert care. Highly recommended!

Today I took my lorikeet, Maymay, to have her nails trimmed for the first time. Dr. Shelby was absolutely wonderful. She gave Maymay a thorough health check and told me that she is a healthy little bird, which made me so happy. I would also like to thank Dr. Shelby and the other veterinarian for trimming Maymay’s nails together. The whole experience was much better than I had imagined. Since it was Maymay’s first visit for a nail trim, I was quite nervous, but both doctors were incredibly patient, gentle, and caring with her throughout the process. Thank you both so much for taking such wonderful care of Maymay.

I honestly cannot recommend Chilli’s Vet highly enough, especially Dr. Kirby. From the moment we met her, she has been nothing but compassionate, patient, honest, and incredibly supportive. Caring for my young bearded dragon has been an emotional and challenging journey, and Dr. Kirby has been there every step of the way. She always takes the time to answer my questions, explain everything thoroughly, and make sure I feel informed and supported when making decisions about his care. What I appreciate most is her honesty and genuine compassion. She never rushes appointments, always listens to my concerns, and it’s obvious she truly cares about the wellbeing of her patients and the people who love them. That level of empathy and dedication is something you don’t come across every day. I also want to thank the entire team at Chilli’s Vet. Every staff member I’ve spoken to has been so welcoming, friendly, and kind. From reception through to the veterinary team, everyone has gone out of their way to make me and my little guy feel comfortable and supported. I’ve brought my scaly breasted lorikeet here a couple of times and it’s been a wonderful experience each time. From the reception to the nurses and vets, staff are friendly and patient. It’s comforting to know that staff here are bird-aware/avian experts, something you can’t get at a usual get. I can’t fault the service, they’ll even help break down pricing where possible so you’re not surprised at the end. Either way, it’s worth it and I feel like my borb is in great hands. Thanks UPV!

I could not speak more highly of the love and dedication from the doctors at this clinic. Dr Tegan and Dr Shelby are two of the most incredible veterinarians I've ever met, with a deep understanding of reptiles, and a genuine love for them. They are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and they truly treat your companion like little superstars. <3 if your little friend needs help, trust these guys. When we took Nero (bearded dragon) into our lives 7 years ago, we found this clinic and Dr Tegan became Nero's primary veterinarian. The support, love, knowledge and care she gave for our little man through the years was always above and beyond. In Nero's final year, both Tegan and Shelby helped us manage Nero's cancer with unwavering dedication and I am so thankful to you both for everything you did. I am a very emotional person, and Nero meant everything to me. When it was time to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, I couldn't have asked for better support or care than from Dr Tegan.
