My experience to book appointments with Student Finance at the Adelaide campus has been very difficult and frustrating. I have found it extremely challenging to get direct support to resolve my fee refund matter. There are no available Student Finance appointments at the Adelaide campus, and I was also advised that virtual meetings could not be arranged. This left email as the only options, however responses have been adressing a different issue instead of resolving my enquiry request and phone calls have not been consistently returned.This has caused back and forth emails because of deflection and no response to resolve my enquiry but rather changing to something i did not enquire about. Other campuses have appointments options available with students finance however they decline to organise some for me as students in Adelaide campus.they keep wasting time to issue a refund. Never pay excess fee especially if it’s your last year it takes ages to get a refund . They will keep you in circles and loops i don’t know if it’s a way of taking advantage of international students or what. Also i found it hard university doesn’t have a lot of contracts with many organisations for placement

Extremely Disappointing Admissions Experience Our experience with this university was extremely frustrating and ultimately led us to withdraw the application and choose another institution. My wife applied for a Master's degree and completed the required English assessment. Initially, the university informed us that she would need to complete a 20-week English pathway program. Just one week later, they changed their decision, reducing it to 10 weeks and stating that those 10 weeks would be provided free of charge. Shortly afterward, we received a conditional offer letter, but we never received any information about the English pathway course itself—no enrollment instructions, no start dates, and no explanation of what the offer was actually conditional upon. After several days of waiting for a response, we contacted the university again. We were then told that my wife no longer needed to complete the English pathway at all. However, despite this, the offer letter remained conditional. We waited more than 60 days for the university to issue a corrected, unconditional offer letter. During this entire period, communication was slow, inconsistent, and unhelpful. We repeatedly had

Fantastic Experience so far. Have recently transitioned to Torrens University from the new Adelaide University as someone who does not learn well online only, Torrens approach is by far the best in Adelaide and gives you up to date practical teachings with their in person lectures being actually in person and not just pre-recorded & uploaded online. Even their online classes are live!!

I would like to sincerely thank Daniel Vargas from Student Services for his outstanding support. From the beginning, he has been extremely helpful and professional. I had an issue where my name was incorrectly mentioned on my completion letter during a very stressful time, as my student visa was about to expire and I needed the correct document urgently. Daniel took full responsibility, followed up consistently, and ensured that I received the corrected document on time. Now, I am facing a similar issue with my testamur, and once again, Daniel has been incredibly supportive. After I handed over all the required documents, he has been proactive and helpful. His dedication, responsibility, and genuine willingness to help students truly make a difference. I really appreciate his efforts and highly recommend his support to any student in need.
