I’ve been to Jessica twice to dye my hair. Both times she’s done a lovely job on doing highlights and bleaching me hair. Afterwards, my hair feels so smooth and I love the colour. She’s professional, friendly and really good at what she does! Lovely service and I’ll definitely go back 😊

I felt compelled to write this review after my recent phone call with Jessica. The story goes, early in the year I booked online for a Blow Dry at Unique Hair. I showed up on time and was seated by Jessica, after waiting about 20 minutes for her to finish another client she brought me over to wash my hair. All went well and actually the blow dry was fantastic HOWEVER, that's not my gripe here. When I was leaving she asked if next time I don't book online as it charges her, whilst that makes sense I don't quite understand why she would have the online booking system on top of that, the salon is dirty and unkept. Fast forward about 6-8months to today, I called to book for another blow dry (as per her request). Immediately when she answers the phone I say Hello and request a blow dry for tomorrow. She proceeds to say "can I call you back? I ask "when?" and she says "soon, I am with a customer" and hangs up. In the meantime I booked a blow dry somewhere else. She calls me back, when she does, I politely let her know that and she says "Okay Bye!" Look, I understand small business, I have run a small business. I get it. I have been going to this hairdresser for 8 years -4 of them at this Salon. I am extremely happy with the service. Very professional, congenial, beat and clean. Jessica really cares about her customers and it matters to her that we are happy with our hair. I have been in the Salon when customers arrive having travelled across Sydney just to have their hair done by Jessica. I can’t understand the negative reviews about this salon - you should ignore them!

I have to say that I am very shocked by some of the reviews here. I have been going here for a couple of years now for my hair cut and Jessica has always given me a great cut. I am very picky with my hair and have been to many different places over the years. I am always happy with the way my hair is cut and would highly recommend Jessica!

I walked into Unique Hair in 2014, distressed about my recent ombré style from another local hairdresser (which is now closed). Jessica explained the process to repair the damage and dryness which I agreed to engage her services. I still continue to see her on regular basis for my foils, blow dry and treatments. Jessica’s native language is Korean, sometimes her tone can sound abrupt cause of her limited English or when she’s busy but, she is professional and a excellent hairdresser. Her prices are reflected with industry standards and the running costs in Manly. I respect her both professionally and personally and highly recommend her services.
