This Vet was fantastic before Covid and during Covid but now I don’t really enjoy going there at all the staff they used to be so friendly and so caring now not as much. I think it’s turned into just a Money making place now the atmosphere is changed so much the only reason I keep going back there now is because of my Dogs Vet if she left that’s when I would never go back. It’s changed so much now as I said once my dog’s vet leaves there I will never go back into their doors as I said before Covid and during Covid it was excellent. I would’ve given them 10 out of 10 but now I would give them maybe two. It’s a shame because I loved going there there I find some of the stuff to be very rude not as caring or nurturing as they used to be her actual Vet is fantastic but the atmosphere now has changed immensely and it’s a shame because once my dog Vet leaves, I’ll have to find a new Vet to go to I think the Vet I’ll go to is probably it Rosebury that has an excellent name. When I’ve rung up a couple of times for emergency at Sydney vet , They listen to what’s wrong with your dog but very very quick to tell you the cost of what your visit will be. Treatment of male cat, occasional vomiting, not eating or drinking, daytime attendance on a weekday. Ended up with return visit and a stay overnight. 1. Immediately helpful and welcoming but at no time did they or anywhere else I looked describe that they are far more expensive than a normal vet (they are happy to divulge this at billing time). Not something you should have to think about when looking for care for a sick animal. Beware - they are much more expensive than an ordinary vet. 2. Large and constant changeover of student and inexperienced staff. Communication is poor although they seemed to be doing the right things. 3. Personal experience - The people I encountered talked more about money than care, got me to sign forms promising money frequently, miscalculated bills to the tune of thousands (resolved at the end), while not really offering a firm plan of attack. It appeared like they were just adding on procedure after procedure to test and check with little to no information on likelihood of success or communication of goals and possible outcomes. I’m really happy with my experience here. My cat broke her leg and after shopping around for places to get the surgery done I decided to go here and I’d recommend it to anyone. Everyone I’ve dealt with- every surgeon, nurse, receptionist and student has been kind, caring, helpful and really lovely to both me and my cat. Two months later nooshi’s leg looks great, every procedure cost either the lowest end of the quote or below it, they’ve been so accessible between appointments with any of my concerns. I couldn’t fault them, this vet made a really difficult time a little easier, more pleasant and eased my stresses and I’m really grateful for the service I received.

After many visits to local vets I finally found someone who could help me with the condition my poor dog has been suffering from for over a year. I found Dr Beth - Vet Dermatologist. She provided my dog and I with amazing service and much needed and answers. The follow up phone calls were greatly appreciated. I felt like I was listened to instead of just being sent on my way with more medication that did not work. I’m so grateful to have found Dr Beth and thankful for her expertise and kindness. I thoroughly recommend her and the University Vet Teaching Hospital to animal parents looking for caring, understanding and professional treatment. Brenda & Roxy 🩷🐾

Unfortunately last night we had to put down our 18yo family dog after he succumbed to the heatwave and various underlying health conditions. Although coming into the hospital at midnight to do so was not an easy decision, the staff made the entire process so much easier for us through their genuine care. Everyone from reception, to the nurse, to the doctor was supportive and treated us and our beloved dog Angus with real gentleness in such a difficult time. Thank you to Dr Mohammed in particular for speaking to us with such patience, tact and honesty. Nothing felt rushed, or forced and it felt as though the staff were approaching the situation as if it was one of their own personal companions. I am grateful that through their support, we were able to give our boy a loving and merciful send-off with all of us present.
