We recently had a 10.45kW solar system installed along with a 48kWh battery by UR Local Solar Sydney at our home in Beecroft, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The battery installed is a Fox ESS system, and it has been performing really well so far. We’re able to store plenty of energy during the day and use it in the evening, which has made a noticeable difference to our electricity usage. From the initial consultation, the team was very professional and transparent. They took the time to explain the system design, how everything works, and what we could realistically expect — which gave us a lot of confidence moving forward. The installation process was smooth and well-organised. The installers were punctual, efficient, and kept everything neat and tidy. It’s clear they have a skilled in-house team who know what they’re doing. We were also guided through the monitoring setup and shown how to track our system performance, which was very helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly, even after the installation was completed. Overall, we’re very satisfied with the system and the service provided. We have had an ALPHA - ESS battery installed on 13 December 2024 by Ur Local Solar to our existing solar system which has been in operation for approximately 4 years. From the outset of discussions Hemaal Chitroda a director of the company has been very professional in guiding us in the evaluation of battery alternatives to suit our needs, final selection of battery to be installed and managing the process from start to completion. The communication throughout the process was excellent. The installation team were very professional doing an excellent job of the battery installation. The installation team leader explained the battery function and how it interfaced with the existing solar panel and inverter, he took the time to assist me in setting up the battery monitoring App on my phone which is excellent. The battery and installation warranty of 10 years is once again excellent The time from our initial discussion to battery installation was less than 4 weeks which exceeded my expectations I would highly recommend Ur Local Solar as solar system/battery suppliers and installers to people looking at having a solar system installed or battery installed to an existing system Regards
