From my first appointment through to treatment and follow-up care, the team have been excellent. I am really pleased with the outcome of my varicose vein treatment, and what has stood out just as much is the level of care and attention I received throughout the whole process. As a smaller practice, the service feels genuinely personal. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble, and they have been incredibly helpful and flexible with appointments, which I really appreciate as I travel for treatment. From my first visit to Dr McConnell I felt comfortable and confident in his expertise. The reception staff are very welcoming which made each visit a positive experience. Dr McConnell took the time to explain in detail my treatment options, that being a less invasive treatment. The results have been fantastic. Any symptoms have significantly improved and I no longer feel self conscious about my legs. I highly recommend Dr McConnell to anyone seeking vein treatment.

From the very first phone call with Fiona, I felt comfortable and cared for. Her beautiful, calming voice and the way she spoke to me with such kindness and professionalism made my decision to come so easy. After a surfing injury I developed a bulging disc in my lower back. I called three clinics. One was rude, the other was not very helpful, but Fiona at Vein Doctors was great. Within a couple of days I got an appointment with Dr Ryan McConnell. The appointment was a great and I was booked to have a steroid injection into my lumbar in a few days. What a relief. I’m very grateful for the prompt response and their understanding. Thanks for everything !

I began treatment with Dr McConnell in October 2025 for varicose veins in both legs, which I had since my early 20s (now late 30s). After a few consults with other providers which left me without confidence on how to proceed (and shocked at the potential price some charge for treatment), Dr McConnell immediately set my mind at ease. He was approachable and clear with his suggested course of treatment. I knew straight away what the cost would be, which was very reasonable. I was also confident that he had the appropriate experience and was using the latest/least invasive methods of treatment. The procedures went smoothly and follow up since the initial surgeries has been fantastic. The results are exactly what I was hoping for. I can wear shorts with confidence again and know my legs will be able to support me for a long time to come. I have since recommended Dr McConnell to a number of other people with vein related concerns, including my own parents. Highly recommended.
