Vine Church is all about Jesus. We really believe Jesus is the key to life, love and freedom. We don't expect everyone to be Christian, in fact we love that many are coming to check out Jesus for the first time.

A beautiful church committed to the faithful preaching of the Word and discipleship. Preaching is done with clarity, authority, and humility – the church lets the Word speak for itself and does not add to or take away from it. Thank you for faithfully bringing the Gospel to the people of Surry Hills and beyond, the warmth and sweetness of fellowship were deeply felt by us visiting from Singapore over the Christmas period. We've been so blessed by our short time here, thank you for showing Christ to us through the staff and members of Vine Church – we could not have felt more at home β™₯️

I can say that I have witnessed genuine people running this church that walk the talk about loving your neighbour . This year I've attended introductory classes in Christianity and though I am still confused about some of the theology , every single class has been interesting , informative and inspiring . I recommend this church to everyone because its down to earth , friendly and genuine . I especially recommend it though to those new to Christianity or from a completely different religious background such as myself , who want to explore Christianity at their own pace with space and freedom to make their own decisions . Vine Church has been a beautiful introduction for me into the world of Christianity . Thankyou Toby and JosΓ© for welcoming me and teaching me , I really appreciate it.

We had a free Sunday on our holiday and decided to attend church here. It can be scary walking into a new church but this was pretty chill. The people at the door were friendly, there was good coffee and pastries in the foyer, and someone noticed we were new and came over to get to know us. The service was relaxed, and the teaching was sound. It was a sermon on giving which can be tricky - but I didn't feel pressured into giving there, rather challenged on how I could live more generously back in the UK. Honestly if we lived in Sydney I'd happily go here every week πŸ™‚

This is a beautiful location to host events. I hosted my baby shower here and it was amazing! Great indoor and outdoor area also great if you have little ones running around they have a small play area for kids outside. They also have a kitchen area available to use as well as tables and chairs.

We used Vine Church to hold an event and it was perfect! Communication from Kate right from the very beginning was fantastic, it was a beautiful and very functional space that catered to all our needs. We used the church building, the foyer, kitchen and outdoor area and were provided with AV as well as tables/chairs that we needed. It was a beautiful, sunny day too - which added to just how perfect it was!

What a loving, welcoming, and Christ-driven Church! Would highly recommend anyone in Sydney to visit Vine. I joined the 4:30pm church which has a larger youth audience. The pastors do a fantastic job at teaching you more about Jesus and being Bible-driven. Whether you're figuring out what this Jesus thing is or you’ve been a Christian your whole life, the pastors and services are there to help you grow in your faith! I also joined a small group (shout to Beth and Ben!) where we were welcomed in a leader’s home, shared a meal, talked about the word, and prayed for each other. Such a beautiful community that I very much cherish

this church's resident ibis is fully civilized: walks up flinders street in its own lane between bicycle path and sidewalk, then waits at pedestrian crossing for green light, flies over at signal sound, and then picks the church grounds. what a gemπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ (sorry but google maps decides the order of pictures...you gotta reorder them in your mind)
