I was very impressed with Ainslee today when I shopped in store. Her deep knowledge, experience and friendly manner made my shopping experience so positive. She is an asset to the company and excellent in this profession.

I love this store! All the staff are always so welcoming and friendly especially Ainslie, she is so knowledgeable on makeup and skincare. She helped me find products that are good for my sensitive skin and we had a great chat! I will definitely be coming back with my friends ☺️☺️

Wandered in to just have a browse, but asked staff for foundation recommendations. They were so polite and helpful! I came out with a new foundation that was half the price of anything from Sephora and it lasts all day during work. The lovely lady who helped me also took the time to shade match my foundation and recommended a lip stain as i asked about that too. She was honest about what products she likes, and I bought them because she recommended them. Glad I did! They also stock a primer and setting spray separately that are both incredible and have made my work makeup look so much better.

“Can I help you with something?” - if someone actually said this to me, it would save me from writing this review. I walked into today afternoon, looking to replace a cleanser. Despite having the world’s worst situational awareness, I noticed staff members hovering near me, as if they were monitoring me. Yes, I understand that the staff have loss prevention duties. Also yes, I understand with the gender presentation I had that day, I don’t look like the target demographic at an AB shop. (I definitely looked like a sloppy CSE graduate male who would use 3 and 1 shampoo for everything). Me looking like a fish out of water could’ve been resolved by just asking what I was looking for. I would’ve replied that I’m looking a new ceramide cleaner with no actives, for the second part of a double cleanse. And as much as I would like to say “you’ve lost me as a customer!,” I’m not exactly some high roller spender at W Cosmetics. Maybe a few hundred bucks at most over a few years. I’m sure no one at W Cosmetics actually cares. The point in this review is to let the staff that day know I felt extremely humiliated when I left. A simple sentence could’ve prevented all this.

I visited W Cosmetic yesterday and was really disappointed with my experience. Many products were out of stock and there didn’t seem to be any restocking. The promotion signs were unclear and some items were supposedly on promotion but only showed the regular price. For a cosmetics store, it’s surprising that they don’t even have sunscreen from any brand. Since the store relocated, things actually feel worse than before. The only improvement is the store being bigger, but everything else seems to have gone downhill. The staff also looked like they were forced to be there, with little enthusiasm in their service. Overall, it was not a pleasant shopping experience.
