I just wanted to bring a drink so I wouldn’t get thirsty but they said I wasn’t allowed to bring it and that I could only bring water, like what’s the difference of a grapefruit tea and water? They’re both liquid, the only difference between them is that one has sugar, tea and the other one has nothing 🙄🙄🙄

My experience with Western Sydney University has honestly been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have had during my time studying in Australia. I am currently dealing with a very time-sensitive and important academic issue, yet the university has been incredibly unresponsive. Even reaching out to senior staff has led nowhere. The Head of Accounting either ignores my emails or responds by redirecting me to the Business Courses Team, who have not responded to my emails in over a month. For a university that promotes professionalism and support for its students, this level of communication is completely unacceptable. What makes the situation even more unbelievable is that the university no longer has accessible academic program advisors or anyone students can speak to in person regarding academic issues since the recent restructuring. For students facing complex problems, the lack of direct academic support is frankly ridiculous. The only point of contact available now is the Student Services Hub, and while the staff there try to help, almost the entire workload has been pushed onto them despite the fact that they often do not have the authority to actually

I would not recommend this university to anyone if you’re planning to be in a high professional career. I don’t even know where to start. Education is horrible for what you’re paying. It’s so difficult to get proper help from teachers, they’re not helpful at all. Absolutely terrible that I literally had to ask the Bankstown teachers that were teaching the same course to help me. It’s not at all worth the time and money. On campus, I don’t understand why it’s open to the public. So many people from the public just come in take up and hog the study spaces. They not paying to be there, so they have no right to be there. For quiet areas in the campus, when I tried many times to focus on completing my assignments, there was so much noise that I couldn’t even focus. Do university students seriously don’t know what a ‘quiet study space’ is? Well my 2 year old nephew knows. It’s not worth the unnecessary stress. You’re better off doing it at UTS or UNSW where they actually know how to teach.

Western Sydney University at Parramatta has a prime location at Parramatta CBD right next to train station and transport hub. University building is at the helm of Parramatta City Square project. The building houses Business School where students enjoy the most technologically advanced and modern facilities.
