The manager behind the counter smirked at my jokes. That means a lot. Despite his obvious great sense of humour - or maybe because of - he supplied a superb beef pie. It actually had real chunks of beef, not the normal ground up stuff. Excellent! So tasty I didn’t even use the tomato relish it came with, albeit I used a spoon to consume that separately. The cappuccinos were also superb and they were classy enough to put the sugar in underneath the foam as requested. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

I felt like I was in a professionally run cafe. Just read the responses to bad reviews. Above the counter are descriptions of the cafe's thoughtful approach to gluten-free food. Staff were friendly and prompt. The coffee is tasty. The GF beef pie held together well - the pastry was more sesame cracker than flakey pastry but that meant it was strong enough for me to eat the pie one-handed. In general, I'm not a gluten-free cafe user because wheat/gluten-substitutes can be just as punishing as gluten. In this case, I'm glad that the restaurant I was heading for was closed for New Years. :-) Wobbly/rotating small tabletop was my only negative. :-(

Sooooooo good! Thank you! Was overjoyed to find this place today. My daughter was recently diagnosed as celiac so we're all eating GF now. We've tried a few other GF places and honestly - they made us lose the will to live. They were that bad! Today we tried Wholegreen Bakery and the food was great. We also bought bread to take home and it was really nice. Faith restored! Lovely team as well. Thank you ☺️

Gluten-free and vegan options availableπŸ’š I stopped in on a walk and ordered a chai and a vegan banana coconut bread. It was a very good combinationπŸŒβ˜• There were pastries, sandwiches, takeaway loaf and bread. A few counter-seats inside the store and a few tables in front.

Great selection of Gluten Free goodies available at Wholegreen Bakery & Cafe. Free street parking. Friendly staff who are happy to help you select items. They were offering a special Mother’s Day cake when I visited too. I ended up purchasing 4 items: the raspberry tart $9.50, apple crumble $8.50, Portuguese custard tart $6.90 & a lemon meringue tart $8.50.
