Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. If you have dietary needs, most kitchens will adapt a dish if you ask. Licensed venues serve alcohol; BYO places let you bring a bottle for a small corkage fee. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Sitting in a cafe with a perfectly balanced oat flat white while watching the staff work with such seamless efficiency was truly a beautiful experience. The chicken, bathed in coconut milk, was incredibly succulent, and the quinoa felt like cute little clouds popping in my mouth. The homemade fresh beetroot puree, pumpkin hummus, and the charcoal bread (not pictured) were exactly what I wanted for a high-quality start to my day. A huge thank you to the kind staff who helped me navigate the many delicious options and surprised my palate. This is truly the kind of cafe I wish I could take with me everywhere I travel.

It has been said before, but the staff are indeed very friendly. A lot of locals come here to get there coffee and breakfast, always an indication the place must be good. And it was.

Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Absolutely phenomenally delicious! Super flavoursome and fresh! Didn’t want it to end, and the bread was so soft - couldn’t believe it was gluten free. The cafe was a huge amount of gluten free coeliac safe options. I’d happily return if I was in Sydney. I really recommend.

The best pancake dish that I’ve ever had. The coconut pancakes with saffron are vegan, perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. Every item on the dish went beautifully and I cannot recommend them enough. The matcha latte was a little too sweet for me, but it was nice. I was told the bacon bagel with cashew cream cheese was lovely. The service was good, everything was great quality. Highly recommend!
