Wilson Parking - Pacific Bondi, Bondi Beach Car Park

reserved a parking online. I see why people were confused where to find the parking but basically wilson parking is the “Pacific Car Park”. On arrival our plate got scanned automatically and as so when we left. We arrived on a Saturday around 10:30 AM, plenty of spots left. In the image u can see the entrance of the parking! Full day for 35$

Worst experience ever!! I booked in advance and prepaid $35, and I follow the google map to this address but no sign for Wilson parking. I found a parking entrance on the other side but it didn't show anything related to Wilson parking. I drove for 20 min around that block and it was the only parking. There were plenty of street parkings along the beach but I had to find it because I've paid for that. I ended up paying for another $60 onsite and it didn't even give me the receipt. I pressed the receipt but nothing happened. There were NO SIGN AT ALL and I only confirmed that I was parking at the correct carpark when I see my bank transactions.

I prepaid online and when we arrived following google maps, It showed us the hotel concierge entry. We entered through the pacific car park that looked like the hotel / retail parking lot and exited due to confusion within 5 minutes. We entered again cuz we did two loops around the block and it was the only parking but we were still unsure. Charged us $60 on top of prepaid and they were unable to give us a refund due to THEIR lack of signage. This is completely unfair how this has been an ingoing issue and nothing has been done about it. It’s money scheming !!!

Car park states max $60 for 3hrs plus on entry. Tired to charge us $140. Intercom person set it to $69 to pay but machine would not take card. Intercom person told us to proceed to boom gate and pay. Machine at boom gate would not work. Intercom person tried to get is to read our card details out load over the intercom with people walking around and 8 cars backed up behind us. Their machine wouldn’t work but it became our problem stuck for 10 minutes with cars backed up. A lovely resident got out of her car and asked us what was happening and articulated the situation well so the person finally opened the gate. NIGHTMARE.

Absolutely disgraceful experience. The number plate scanner at this car park is completely unreliable – it claimed I had been parked for over 46 days, when in fact I had only been there for under an hour. The machine tried to charge me a jaw-dropping $3,740.00 (see attached photo). When I pressed the help button, the staff were not only unhelpful but rude, telling me that if I didn’t want to pay, I could just leave my car there. It took multiple phone calls to finally get someone to override the charge and let me out – no apology, no acknowledgement of their error. I’ve experienced similar issues here before, and it’s clear this is a recurring problem. How many people have been wrongly overcharged because they couldn’t fight it? Avoid this car park at all costs. If Wilson Parking is going to use automated systems, they have a responsibility to make sure they work – and treat customers with basic respect when they don’t.
