Possibly one of my favourite date night spots in Manly β€” or even on the Northern Beaches! The vibe and atmosphere are always amazing, making it the perfect place for a night out. My girlfriend and I came to Bonsai last night, and as always, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was spectacularβ€”beautifully presented, generous without being overdone, and absolutely delicious. Our standout dish has to be the pork dumplings. They were warm, rich, and beautifully brothyβ€”everything you'd hope for in a perfectly made dumpling. Comforting, full of flavour, and easily one of the best dishes on the menu. A massive shout-out to Kayla as well! She was so warm and attentive throughout the entire evening, always checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Her genuine friendliness and hospitality made the experience even more memorable. We always leave looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend if you're after incredible food, a great atmosphere, and exceptional service!

Went to Bonsai for dinner after being pestered by my flatmate about not just how good the food is, but also the epic service is in there. And oh boy he was not lying about that! Thanks Kayla, Aaron and Maddie for making our evening fun! These guys are superstars and the friendliest bunch out of all the venues in Manly! It was an awesome evening full of laughs! Will be back for sure!!!

Fun, friendly and great food. I wasn’t sure what to order, but the staff were very helpful and I really enjoyed it all, particularly the karaage chicken. Thanks Aaron for this, well recommended. Will be back for more!

Wanted a good celebration dinner after a long week. We were hungry, and wanted to enjoy the ferry to Manly. I found this place right before we got off boat. Walked up and were not too impressed with the smallish menu, but we went ahead but felt maybe a sampling of all would help. We ordered the Premium Banquet for 5 people. The waitress was lovely. She had good banter with my friends and was helpful with me in choosing a drink. With the cost of the premium banquet we honestly were NOT prepared for what came out. We really thought it would be lacking. It was PHENOMENAL! The presentation, flavors, quality and quantity above exceeded all of our expectations. The chef did an amazing job, seriously…I want to come back here everytime I return to Australia. For a Thursday night we were so happy to have a nice quiet dinner. No crowds, no excessively loud music. It was the perfect atmosphere for us to decompress and enjoy each other’s company.
