For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Manly is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Manly follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. Had a fantastic experience here. All the dishes were fresh, juicy, and flavourful. The highlights were definitely the Wagyu beef and Karaage chicken. Decently priced for the quality and location. Will be back!

Amazing food with excellent service! The menu is great, the food is so fresh & tasty and the staff are friendly and efficient. We also really rate the atmosphere! Being a Monday night and visiting from out of the area, we didnt think about booking. Luckily for us, we got the last 2 seats at the bar so would highly recommend booking ahead and we also rate the bar seating area because we got to watch all the good being cooked on the grill. Highly recommend for a really enjoyable night all around.

Winter 2026 has been officially inaugurated, and Kushi in Manly did the honours. I'll be honest after two decades of living in this postcode, I was today years old when I discovered this place exists. A ramen gem, hiding in plain sight. The audacity. The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen arrived and immediately meant business. Deeply complex, rich and unapologetically indulgent. The garlic oil brought the drama, the roast pork belly brought the swagger, and the mushrooms were quietly iconic. A triumvirate of flavour that had me reconsidering my life choices. One minor plot hole: the spicy mince bomb. Showed up with absolutely nothing to say. Bland, forgettable, slightly confused about its purpose in life. We believe in you, little guy, but you need work. Kushi, you had twenty years to introduce yourself and chose now. Bold move. It worked. I'm coming back and I'm bringing witnesses. First ramen of the season. Definitely not the last.

I’m genuinely so impressed with my experience at Kushi 2095. The moment I walked in, the cozy and intimate ambiance already set the tone for such a nice meal. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to love it this much at first, but the food completely won me over. The sashimi rice bowl was incredibly fresh and so satisfying, and the spicy tonkotsu ramen was on another level. The broth was rich and full of depth, and every bite just felt so comforting and indulgent. What really made it stand out even more was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless and welcoming. Even though it’s quite far from where I live, I would absolutely go out of my way to come back. It’s one of those places that really stays with you after you leave, and I can’t recommend it enough!
