My journey with A Start in Life began in high school when I received financial assistance during a challenging time. This support provided me with stability and hope. After a gap year, I was accepted into a course at RMIT but felt uncertain about the financial feasibility of pursuing tertiary education. Reaching out to A Start in Life again, I was fortunate to receive further financial support, which ultimately empowered me to commit to my studies. Throughout my education, A Start in Life offered encouragement, inspiration, and guidance through regular check-ins and incentives. Their support felt like having a distant but deeply invested family member cheering for my success. Being the first in my family to attend university has been transformative. My studies in environmental science have allowed me to channel a lifelong passion for the natural world into a career path. A Start In Life is an amazingly supportive organization that has truly helped my children get a good start in life!
