We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel for our quick two nights in Sydney and we won the jackpot. We needed two bedrooms, two bathrooms and laundry facilities, leading to our discovery of apartment hotels. But don't let that fool you; this was a regular, classy hotel. We think this is a great opportunity for people traveling in groups and. just as good for individual travelers.

We suspect the Adina rooms are well overdue for an overhaul. The location is excellent, with plenty of great places to eat nearby, and the onsite parking is reasonably priced and convenient. The staff were also genuinely friendly without overdoing it. We booked a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment which was spotlessly clean and included a laundry. Not something we needed, but definitely nice to have. So, what’s the issue? The whole place feels like a bit of a time warp back to the early 2000s. The kitchen is functional enough, but very dated. Even the tap over the sink needed quite a bit of finessing and convincing before it would properly turn off. The TV is also well behind modern expectations ... small, old, no built-in apps, and no ability to install them. You’re basically limited to free-to-air channels only. Even ABC iView or SBS On Demand weren’t an option, so we ended up watching those on a laptop instead. Watching TV from the lounge was hard work too. The furniture feels tired and uncomfortable, and the layout was brutal on the lower back and neck. We actually rearranged the furniture ourselves just to make the space usable, probably not something guests should need t

Everything was almost perfect. We stayed for 10 nights and the room size was appropriate for a pleasant stay. The apartment was fully equiped with all to feel like home: frying pan and knife in good condition, toaster, microwave, kitchen, oven, cuttlery, automatic dish machine, laundry machines... The only thing they should need to improve a bit is in the room service cleaning, specially in toilets. The rest of things were awesome! Thank you
