Working with Adriano and his team was one of the best decisions we made. From the outset, Adriano challenged the conventional approach and created a home that is truly unique. In a suburb where many new builds can feel predictable, he designed something with real character, warmth and individuality that stands apart, while still feeling perfectly at home in North Bondi. What impressed us most was his ability to create light. Despite the constraints of the site, Adriano designed a home flooded with natural light from every angle. The way light moves through the house throughout the day, filtering through the front shutters and internal courtyards, is extraordinary and something we could never have imagined when we first started the project. His use of courtyards, voids and spatial planning has created a home that feels bright, open and connected to the outdoors in every season. Equally impressive is the way the home flows. Adriano and his team designed a second-storey addition to my double-fronted brick Federation home that exceeded all my expectations. From the street, the addition is barely visible, and where it can be seen, it appears elegant, beautifully proportioned, and surprisingly compact. Inside, however, the space feels expansive — with soaring ceilings, striking angles and curves, and a dramatic void that adds architectural interest. Adriano and his team skillfully brought natural light into the centre of the home and framed views in a way that enhances both comfort and aesthetics. Their recommendations for flooring, tiles, and lighting were not only within budget but also instrumental in creating a cohesive and beautifully integrated upper level that blends seamlessly with the original house. Adriano, Julia and the team at APA have created a beautiful home for our family of six in Manly. We retained the historical front of our home from 1901 whilst demolishing and completely re-building the rear of our house. We are delighted with the resulting light, well designed and functional space with a beautiful connection between the old and new parts of the house. The design is perfect for our family's lifestyle, with a better use of all possible space and seamless combination of indoor and outdoor living areas. APA listened to our requirements and designed a customised solution which we love! Adriano and Aoiffe nailed the brief, designing a renovation to our federation semi which opened up the house and created a space which is far better than we could have imagined. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Adriano and the team at APA were incredible to deal with. From their initial design concept right through to the finished product. We were blown away by Adriano’s vision, we had no idea what could become of our awkwardly built house. Adriano and Matt turned what was a rabbit warren, with many corridors and doors that lead to absolutely nowhere, into a light filled oasis with loads of space for our family to enjoy. What they achieved, working within a strict budget and within the existing shell of our house was very impressive. Challenges were faced head on and overcome with creative solutions. They answered every question, and there were many, and guided us through with ease. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and we felt safe and supported through out the entire process. Could not recommend the team at APA more, nor give them higher praise.
