If I could give minus -100 . I would . Please do not ever signup with these guys . They are not a service provider they are cheater . They have charged huge amount just changing kWh from control load 1 to shoulder since control load 1 0.20cents but shoulder is 0.48 cents

If I could give minus stars I would. Customer service is shocking, bills are expensive. I called about a billing enquiry and was on the phone uselessly for an hour, spoke to three different people and run in circles until I eventually gave up and hung up, nothing resolved. For your sanity, don’t bother. You can find cheaper with better customer service literally anywhere, these guys suck :)

We have been with this awful, unprofessional, incompetent company for a while now. I have now accepted and embraced the pain of changing all my accounts, just so I don’t have to deal with alinta ever again. A non existent customer service, that never reads nor addresses the problems. The reviews here are telling of both breadth and depth of their lack of care and their disdain for their customers, not making changes nor addressing any of thr underlying issues. If you want grief and pain this is the company to sign with.

After 7 years and a loyal customer, Allinta energy has let me down, Spoke to a rep by the name of Dominic in the accounts department, I found him to be merciless when I requested a reduced rate being on the disability pension. I have always been a vigilant payer and never behind with my bills not to mention that I recommended my family too Allinta I have since moved on to a better energy company and couldn't be happier. Dear Allinta you need to do better I'm still waiting for my $63.00 refund which I had to call twice for. Rema

It's an awful experience with my recent experience switching gas supply to Alinta. After nealy three months since I applied the switch I hadn't received any update on the status of transfer. Then I received my quarterly bill from previous supplier which showed actual reading was carried out. I called Alinta customer service it appeared that the off-shore staff wasn't trained properly. I was told by the agent that actual reading had been scheduled in a couple days time and I needed to be on site on that day which I knew it's not correct. After the scheduled date I didn't get any notification so I called again. The agent couldn't give me update on the transfer and repeated that I need to wait. After another two weeks I finally got the email from Alinta confirming the transfer completed. It seems to me that Alinta's internal process is broken, its off-shore staff training was poor, poort communication with customers. I regret having chosen this company (not the same I used to deal with).
