Erin and Vanessa provided amazing guidance during this difficult time for my family. It was particular touching the whole memorial was conducted in Cantonese. Just the way my father would have wanted. Erin was professional and helped us picked out paper figurine to burn, I grew up here and I am not familiar with the Chinese customs so her input was valuable and welcome. Our family will be forever grateful to Lily and Vanessa from Amazing Funerals for conducting our mum’s service. From the initial call to the day of the funeral, they had shown us compassion, professionalism, patience, flexibility and also guidance on a culturally appropriate service for mum. Their knowledge and suggestions on how to accommodate a Buddhist chant, a bi-lingual celebrant and western formalities was invaluable. They knew how to bridge cultural differences but in a modern way. All our extensive questions were answered promptly as we had many, many requests that they handled with courtesy and grace. Not only did they work with the Buddhist temple to incorporate the chanting service but also live musicians and florists. After having looked into other funeral homes, we chose Amazing Funerals as they are an independent operator (not part of a conglomerate) and we are so glad we did. Attendees at the service even remarked to us that the funeral was very well planned and executed by the team. We have recommended them to family and friends.
