Our company has been using Associated Counsellors for a number of years as our employee assistance provider. The team intake team are very responsive and professional and have helped us navigate what sort of personal support we might offer team members at different times. The feedback we have had from our staff about the quality of the counselling has also been exceptional. Highly recommended and trustworthy firm.

I don't normally write reviews, but when I saw a negative review was the only one for these guys, I thought I should share my experience which has been nothing short of excellent. I've seen two counsellors before over my adult life and while they were both helpful, the experience was nowhere near as professional or truly expert as the one I've had here. The lady on the phone was very warm and intelligent and spent 20 minutes on the phone with me checking what I was after to make sure it was a good fit. She asked me whether I knew what style of therapist I'd prefer. I didn't really know the answer, so she asked me what I found helpful with my previous therapists and what I thought was lacking. I explained I wanted more direction and someone who would work more actively with me and teach me some skills, rather than just a good listener. I feel the match I've made is so far really excellent. I've had 4 sessions and from the first session I got practical tips and strategies to go forward. I have also been able to use a Medicare health plan through my GP which the receptionist here told me about and is saving me about $85 per session. Thank you!! Big thumbs up from me.
