I’ve seen a few psychologists over the years, but I’ve never felt as supported as I do with Shannon. She’s so thoughtful and intentional in our sessions, and for the first time I really feel like I'm getting somewhere. She has an amazing way of understanding what’s going on and always makes me feel truly understood. She's the best!

A family member used Shannon McQuade at another psychologist, this psychologist is definitely best avoided! She is rude, unprofessional, unreliable, lacks any form of empathy, and made racially discriminated comments about our family member who really needed help at this time. We will be writing a formal complaint to the Psychology Board of Australia about her disgraceful behaviour. If you want a professional psychologist who actually cares about clients - look elsewhere!

Valerie is a wonderful therapist, a real asset to the company. She always made me feel safe and comfortable, she helped me through a difficult time and I’ll be forever grateful! The admin team were also kind, helpful and responsive whenever I contacted them.

Very conveniently located practice in Surry Hills, I accompanied my colleague during their first visit. The waiting room and offices are well designed and decorated, setting the foundation for a calming experience. My colleague left her first session with a sense of hope, which was reassuring to see. Valerie is a fantastic psychologist! Thank you head in the clouds!

I’ve spoken to several psychologists and therapists over the years and have found my people here and there, and it always takes time and effort to get the help you need and want. As a young person of colour and child of immigrants, it can be particularly hard to find a place where you can express your voice. Head in the clouds had great profiles on their website (and great website design) and it had the right vibe so i gave them a try, and I’m very grateful to be working with Gay Cusack.

I feel really grateful to be able to work with Valerie. She is kind and compassionate and fantastic at holding safe space for me to explore my journey and heal. I've found that my remote EMDR sessions with Valerie have been particularly successful and I will continue with them under Valerie's guidance.

I’ve been very lucky to have met Valerie, who has been tremendous help and support for me over the last 2 years. I’ve had a few different psychologists in the past but it could never really work for me until I started seeing Valerie. I’ve learnt great knowledge and insight from Valerie which helped me to overcome challenging situations.
