We had a really great stay at this hotel Barry’s in Bondi. The room was very comfortable and everything was clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful — they even let us leave our luggage, which we really appreciated. There’s a bar downstairs, but honestly you can barely hear any noise, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The location is a 10/10 — just two blocks from the beach, which is perfect. Overall, such a good vibe and a very pleasant stay. Would definitely come back!

Nice location but weird hotel sitting above 2 bars and 2 clubs . Weird because in order to avoid moisture in the bathroom the window is held open with some metal parts, kind of stupid because when it rains you cannot close that window and it rains inside…ridiculous. Its noisy until 1am but if you get room 6 then it has a connection door with room 5 so you can hear everything the others are doing or saying so you might have a long night. The hallway smells like alcohol and have seen cockroaches in the inner court (not in the room though). Will not stay here again for sure.

$300 Per night. 1- They put a no parking signal on our car without inducting us about the usage of the parking. 2- they have a NIGHT CLUB in the level below the bedrooms AND NO EARPLUGS TO PROVIDE. Apparently the party goes until midnight. We are glad they can’t provide earplugs. 3-We were drinking a energiser and the security guy made a thing of us attempting to get to our hotel with it because they manage a bar and nightclub at the same place. 4-because of the bar and nightclub they expect us to show our ID every time we come in. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t even come close to this place. Make yourself a favour and skip this hotel. Not worth even a dollar.

5 stars, would stay again! The current rating is unfair in our opinion. Superb room, lovely bathroom, great location and yes it’s above a pub. If you didn’t know that when you booked it then that’s on you stoopid! We slept soundly and enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location, but unfortunately not the best choice for a quiet stay. There’s a club directly below, and the music is so loud you can literally hear it in the room as if you’re right there. The noise goes on until 1:00 a.m., making it feel more like a party house than a restful getaway. If you’re here for the nightlife, it might suit you, but if you’re after peace and quiet, I’d look elsewhere.
