Big Hostel will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first home in Sydney, where I made amazing memories and found a family away from home. As I’m leaving Australia, I chose to stay here one last time because it truly feels like home. The staff are wonderful, the hostel is always spotless, and the welcoming atmosphere makes every stay special. A special thank you to the cleaning team—Aref, Trami, and Gwendoline—and to the reception team—Vincenzo, Lotti, Patrick, and Romain. Thank you all for your kindness and for making my Sydney experience unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend Big Hostel more! Tuty

I really recommend this hostel. The staff is nice and friendly, as the other guests who became international long term friends. The bedrooms are clean, bathrooms as well (I used only the women bathroom and the en-suite bathroom in my room). The kitchen is frequently cleaned so it is very good if you want to cook your own meals :)

The beds don’t have privacy curtains (which is a bit of a nuisance when it comes to privacy). There’s very little storage space in the kitchen (all the bags are crammed into the fridge). The shower and toilet are fine. Great localisation
