My car suddenly broke down and completely stopped working. By chance, I came across this company because I work in Bondi and live in a different area, so I needed urgent help. As a woman dealing with car trouble alone in an unfamiliar area, the way I was treated was extremely disappointing. They overcharged me unnecessarily and spoke to me very rudely. The towing distance from my location to their workshop was only about a 7-minute drive. The towing company itself charged $165, but this workshop charged me $250 instead. They also added a “phone call fee,” even though I never contacted them directly — one of their associates made the call on my behalf. In the end, I decided to move the car elsewhere because they threatened that if I didn’t arrange it myself, they would do it and charge me for it. What made me lose trust completely was that they gave me an initial repair quote of $3,765 without even properly checking the actual issue with the car. Then, after I questioned the price, they suddenly called the next day and reduced the quote to $2,350. That alone says a lot. I won’t be going back. Got charged upwards of $2000 for a simple service on a cheap mazda 2. Over 2grand to ‘buff headlight lens’ ‘tighten covers’ plus a wheel alignment. Ridiculous prices.

EDITED to respond to Kristy: First of all, I have clear proof of arriving at your shop at 2:20pm and leaving before 3:00pm, and it was Wednesday. Your “clarification of events” is laughable. Second, if you can read, then you would understand the biggest issue is the arrogant and condescending service from your team and particularly that male mechanic, which you have completed failed to address. Third, I was clearly misled into believing the $560 tyre replacement was the only option that can be completed on the same day due to stock issues, your mechanic even confirmed this over the phone with my family saying that cheaper alternatives were out of stock and had to be ordered. Lastly, even for the same exact brand and size, I have since confirmed with other providers that the market price is approximately $450, not $560. Your “clarification” lacks a single ounce of accountability or apology. I suggest you prioritise learning basic business etiquette over making excuses. ——— If you are looking for a tyre change, skip this place at all cost. AVOID!! Took my car in for an easy tyre change, came out with a dent in the side of the door. Had sentry footage before and after, proving that it had happened whilst it was with them. Ultimately had to go through insurance because I couldn't prove which mechanic there did it. Would definitely recommend avoiding this garage.

**WORRIED ABOUT SAFETY OF FAMILY AFTER CAR SERVICE** Car was serviced 6/5/2025 and charged $645 (including pink slip). They day after start-stop system error displayed as in pictures below. Returned to garage 09/5/2025 and told error due to 4 failing spark plugs (unlikely) and charged $830. (coincidentally needing replacement the day after a full service) 07/07/2025 oil Pressure (below picture) error appeared, I could not believe oil pressure could be low as just had serviced at Bondi Junction auto repairs (receipt including oil change below). when driving back from driving kids swimming lessons, car started making strange noises (FELT UNSAFE DRIVING CAR) and engine warning light came on, luckily pulled by on side of road next to autospares store. Checked oil dipstick and it was BONE dry, no oil to be felt on dipstick. Whilst kids crying in back of car we filled 2.5L of motor oil into the engine in half a litre lots. When we returned to express concerns the manager today we spoke to offered no apology or concern for what had happened after they had serviced the car. The manager spoken to today stated "you don't have proof" in a smug way. He offered to look at the car again but
