I wouldn’t recommend this mechanic. I was told there were several issues with my car during a pink slip inspection, but a second opinion confirmed there was nothing wrong. This felt misleading and unnecessary. Pricing was also higher than expected. I suggest getting another opinion before agreeing to any work.

I've only ever had excellent experiences at Bondi Motor Works. Recently, the team went above and beyond to fix a complex issue with my car that other places couldn’t properly diagnose. They clearly put a lot of care and effort into tracking down the root cause and didn’t stop until they found the solution. What really stood out was how transparent they were throughout the whole process. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and gave me multiple options so I could decide what worked best for me. On top of that, their pricing was extremely reasonable, especially considering the time and effort they put into solving the problem. Communication was great from start to finish, and everyone I dealt with was genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. Ive been going to Bondi Motor Works for a couple years now for both my car and scooter, and they are the best mechanics I have experienced in Sydney by far. Always efficient, professional, reasonably priced and clear genuine communication around what is needed and why. Today Russ went above and beyond to help me get the particular light globes I needed for my car and even explained how to install them myself. For an independent female who has never had a solid role model in my life to teach me these necessary skills, you have no idea how valued and appreciated this small gesture was. 5 stars to you guys !! Honest and Exceptional Service at Bondi Motor Works! “They are honest, fast, and never push unnecessary repairs or overcharge like some other places do.” Yesterday, I went to Bondi Motor Works because I had a nail in my tire. While I did some shopping at the nearby Kmart, they quickly removed the nail and kindly explained everything to me. To my surprise, they didn’t even charge me! I was a bit worried, but they assured me that my tire was in perfect condition. Even though I didn’t pay anything, they still helped me with my car when I was leaving. I had a great experience here before when I got my pink slip, so I decided to come back—and I’m so glad I did. This time, I wasn’t just satisfied; I was truly impressed. They are honest, fast, and never push unnecessary repairs or overcharge like some other places do. For female drivers, this place is super convenient since it’s inside the Kmart building—you can run errands instead of just waiting around. Even though Bondi Junction is known for its high prices, you don’t have to worry here. If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic, Bondi Motor Works is the place to go!
