Giving this clinic 1 star because I can’t give it zero. Myself and my husband have both been seen by Dr Donnellan for skin checks in the past and will not to return based on our experiences. I left questioning if the income earned from performing potentially unnecessary procedures was valued over my wellbeing. Like others, fear was used to encourage me to have a spot removed (β€œit could be a melanoma”). In hindsight I now realise the rationale provided was poor and should have sought a second opinion. I was also advised I should take 4 weeks off work to avoid walking due to location of the tiny (and benign, I should add) spot being removed. When I enquired about the cost of the procedure Dr Donnellan inappropriately responded by noting that he has never had a patient ask such a question (seriously?!). My husband has had several spots removed by Dr Donellan over the years, all of which were found to be benign. I should note that we have a friend who did have a melanoma removed by Dr Donnellan so I don’t doubt that he is detecting and removing actual skin cancers too. My concern is how many Type I errors (false positives) is he making for every correct diagnosis, and what motivates a

Exceptionally disappointing. As per previous posts seems to aim for volume of patients rather than quality of service or patient care and actual proper and thorough diagnosis. β€œRecommendations” for procedures fuelled by fear rather than medically based practice. Absolutely no bed side manner, spent the entire procedure talking to the assistant about an issue with the printer at reception, felt invisible. The doctors instructions to keep the stitches in for 21 days, which at the time I thought was very strange, seemed to coincide with the doctors leave and operating days. After 10 days by body starting rejecting the stitches as a foreign body and the wound became very inflamed, tight and a burning sensation. Following the directions printed and given to me I called the clinic numerous times at many different hours to be met with a voicemail stating they were on a lunch break. I attended the clinic in the advertised operating hours and it was closed. In desperation I called my GP who stayed back from her lunch break to see me and was horrified at the state of the wound and how long I was instructed to keep the stitches in. The GP assessed the wound and removed the stitches, at an ad

If I could leave a minus review I would. My husband, son and I waited over an hour for our skin check and when the doctor finally came in he was so rude and insulting. Please do not waist your time, and money on this extremely rude doctor. His excuse was that he was three nurses down and the receptionist didn’t want to come in. I wonder why she didn’t want to come in.

I went because I was bothered about a mole that had sprung up. They saw me straight away. The staff were very polite & friendly. Very thorough examination. Dr. Donnelly, was such a gentleman. I'm impressed! Would recommend this practice! 10 out of 10 !
