I would not recommend Dr. Peter Martin for any type of eyelid surgery. In 2020, I underwent an upper blepharoplasty under his care, and it was a disaster from start to finish On the day of the surgery, when I walked into the room, he made a joke saying he couldn’t remember who I was. At that point, I should have stood up and walked out without proceeding. During the pre-operative marking, two lines were drawn on my right eyelid, and he unfortunately, he cut along the incorrect line, removing more eyelid tissue than intended. This has resulted in a very obvious asymmetry. Six years later, my right eyelid still opens involuntarily at night while sleeping. Dr. Martin performed two revision procedures without any anaesthetic, during which I referred to his operating chair as the ‘torture chair’. He refused to accept any responsibility for his error. If you are thinking of having surgery with him, take note of the reviews.

Dr Martin operated on my eyes that included pstosis and other surgery. I then undertook two further procedures with him to rectify problems that resulted from his surgery. One eye was left somewhat distorted and highly irritated on a daily basis, with my vision affected. I have since had two further surgeries with a different specialist that has improved but not eliminated the problems. Dr Martin has refused to assume any responsibility despite originally assuring me I would be pleased with the result. The procedure should have been standard. Please do not believe this man is a competent surgeon for any eyelid or cosmetic surgery.

I couldn't be happier with Dr Martin's work. He removed some growths from my eyelid in a skilled and pain-free way. He used a method of removal that meant that I have no scarring or problems. I found him to be very reassuring and careful. I would definitely recommend him as a surgeon.

Dr Martin is a generous, kind, compassionate amazing surgeon. I had reconstructive surgery on my eyelid and tear duct. A procedure that other surgeons said was too difficult. The results were nothing short of spectacular. I could not thank Dr Martin enough for this life changing surgery.

Being a nervous patient, I'm so glad I was referred here! I had an unsightly lesion on my left eye and required a small surgery to remove it. Dr Peter Martin, Katie and Melanie were nothing less than fantastic. They were welcoming, professional and willing to help. Even when I turned up in a blubbering mess, they all seemed to know just what to say to make me feel comfortable. I feel incredibly grateful for coming across such a wonderful doctor who works alongside an equally exquisite team. Thank you - I highly recommend this clinic to anyone.
