AVOID THIS COMPANY. Its a rental company that gets profit from the bad property situation in Sydney… The house needed a lot of mantainance and they igonred us completely. Review your contracts because in case you & your flatmates don’t find a replacement at the same time, they will make you lose your bond and want to make you pay forever!!!

I would like to report that the agency Bondi Living is, in my experience, highly dishonest. Having lived in one of their properties for a month and a half, I was able to observe the deplorable condition of both the bedroom and the entire apartment. Even before moving in, and upon arrival, I noticed clear issues: water had leaked through the walls of the bathroom and the shared bedroom, leaving a strong, persistent moldy smell. During heavy rain, water continued to seep through cracks, staining the carpet. The bedroom blind was already broken and was never repaired or replaced despite being reported, forcing me to sleep with light shining directly into my eyes, which was very frustrating. The weekly rent is absolutely not worth the price they charge, considering the unsanitary condition of the apartment, which can only be described as a slum. Contrary to the agency’s claims, no cleaning had been done before my arrival, as evidenced by the presence of large cockroaches in the kitchen and living room. I have also read previous reviews mentioning difficulties in getting the bond refunded, sometimes not even being lodged with Fair Trading NSW. In my case, I was fortunate enough to find

I lived in a property managed by bondi living and they were great !! My property manager Cornell Harjanto was superb, every time we had any questions or things that needed doing he would help us straight away and was all a good laugh on the phone. Highly recommended! Also Cornell gave me the best reference for the new house too, proper legend.

If you’re going to rent with this company, I strongly recommend taking photos of absolutely everything, because when the contract ends, they will try to charge you for completely ridiculous things — like marks on the wall, a mattress (which they removed themselves), or bed covers, claiming they were new at the start of the tenancy (even though the initial condition report clearly shows otherwise). On top of trying to charge for all of this, the staff are constantly rude and unprofessional. Make sure to check whether your bond was actually lodged with NSW Fair Trading — ours never was. And if there’s ever an issue with the apartment or its facilities, don’t expect a solution — it will never come. Honestly, if you can avoid this company and their staff, I highly recommend doing so.
