Avoid this property. It had a RAT INFESTATION and the bathroom was dirty with black mould. It is marketed through the fancy website as 'luxury' accommodation, believe me that i most definitely not the case. When we saw the rats scurrying around the lobby steps and ground floor area we alerted the host company (by messages, impossible to speak to anyone)....I was told they had already spent $700 engaging a pest control firm.....no mention of a refund or compensation for my stay

Avoid this place! We booked two apartments and upon arrival it turned out that they provided the access code only to 1 apartment. The hosts were unreachable by phone, which is unacceptable by any standard. Since it was too late to book a replacement, our group had to spread out over the one apartment + our car. Utter mismanagement! Update to the apartment itself: cockroaches in the kitchen, mold and dirt in the bathroom, dirty blankets and sheets on the beds. Do yourself a favor and don't book here.

The location was amazing but it’s extremely annoying that they charge the full damage deposit to your credit card- which is $1000. This is fine if you’re Australian but because we’re not, we ended up paying $50 (due to taking a hit on the exchange rate) so in practice it’s not actually a fully refundable damage deposit. They should figure out how to just put a hold on the card like every hotel does.

Stayed with Kahlo over the Christmas Period for 2023. Very accommodating, only a walk from the beaches (Tamaramarra & Bondi). Very responsive and lovely well decorated, clean space. Will be back again! Also we were charged a $1000 due to never having booked with Air BNB before and the refund was processed and received all within 7 days! Very impressed and would recommend to any families, singles or couples wanting a getaway in the beautiful city of Bondi.

Brilliant accommodation. Highly recommend. Mixture of art deco historical design with modern finishes. Convenient location. Upper levels no life so just be aware for those that may find stairs challenging of if you have heavy bags.
