My friends and I walked into the pharmacy and the alarm went off as we entered. The security guard “joked” saying, “Who’s carrying the gun?” We awkwardly laughed because it was a really bad joke, but then he added, “Did you bring the guns from South America?” That was the final straw. Comments like that are discriminatory and inappropriate. We told him it wasn’t okay, but instead of apologising, he stood next to us watching us as if we were doing something wrong — when we had literally just come in to buy sunscreen. We asked for an apology, but we ended up leaving feeling really uncomfortable and upset.

Low prices as always but customer service leaves too much to be desired. Was looking for a perfume and they had zero willingness to provide information, let alone any knowledge on what they were selling. I don’t expect luxury level perfume store attention, but just a little bit of commitment and good will.

Heavily staffed but somehow impossible to get what you need quickly and easily, with only one person on the tills. No clear queueing system at the pharmacy counter making it even harder to see the pharmacist and get sorted. And so much fluorescent signage you honestly can’t find a thing without help. Avoid if you can!
