Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Sydney follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. Not so much people I like that cart with the long handle which you can push and not carry!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty well stocked Coles in the CBD area. All was good until we checked out. As the 2 young Coles staff were deep in their conversation, I decided to return the trolley. As I lifted up the trolley and was about to fit the trolley in, the more petite young blonde Coles staff came towards me in big strides and literally snatched the trolley off my hands. With no explanation whatsoever before heading to the other end and plonking the trolley down in a huff and then returning to continue the engaging discussion with the other taller female co-worker. I understand that I may have tried to return the trolley at the wrong stack, but I am a tourist and this is the first time I patronised this branch. It was most shocking to be treated so rudely, especially by a teenager. I have been to other Coles and Woolsworth outlets, and have always been politely treated by all the staff, adults and young part timers alike(students packing the shelves and pushing heavy carts of refills stocks and not milling around gossiping away). This is the first and last time I will patronise this outlet. I am most appalled at this staff's poor service. The time I visited

Coles Local is such a convenient place for day-to-day shopping. The store hours are great, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. A special mention to Niva, who has been exceptionally supportive and attentive every time we visit. Her helpful attitude truly enhances the shopping experience and is one of the main reasons we prefer this store over others nearby.

Coles Local Sydney is such a great supermarket experience. The store is modern, clean, and very well organised, making it easy and enjoyable to shop. There’s a fantastic range of fresh produce, quality products, and unique local items you don’t usually find in a regular Coles. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt fresh and well presented. Definitely one of the best Coles stores I’ve visited in Sydney.

Loved super market visit whenever I travelled. Found this branch which is the closest to Sofitel. There are so many things to pickup and I loved their freshly squeezed orange juice dispensed directly from the machine. There are no quene for the self service cashier.

My first time in Australia and this is the first supermarket that I encountered. I’m amazed at the product selection and price affordability. Compared to supermarkets in Hawaii, this supermarket is beyond amazing. I come back twice today already ;))

As I stayed on cooking available Residence, I explored all markets near CBD and here were best place to find some ingredients to cook. About Tourists shopping list like teas or snacks are not bit competitive but meat fruits and grocery are competitive here. Therefore I was happy that can feel local life more in here.

It's a lovely Coles Local outlet, located close to QVB and near all the nearby offices. It's right in front of the bus stop as well, so it makes for a good convenient store before you head home from work. It has a wide selection of groceries and things you can quite immediately consume there and then. It's clean, and with sufficient systems to help with fast and smooth check outs. As tourists, we got our frozen items right before we headed back to the hotel (which is a short walk away), and then proceeded to the airport right away.
