I drove 30 minutes to visit this store because they had the bike I wanted in my size. When I arrived, the three staff members were standing in the glass office. They all looked at me as I walked in, but none of them acknowledged me or offered any assistance. I don’t have a lot of bike knowledge, so I was already feeling a bit out of my depth, and being left to wander around an otherwise empty store for five minutes without anyone approaching me made the experience even more uncomfortable. The lack of basic customer service was really disappointing. I ended up leaving without buying anything, which is a shame because I had made the trip specifically to purchase a bike from this store.

🚴‍♂️ Title: A Five-Year Pedal Through Excellence with North Side Cycles! 🎉 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five years ago, I embarked on a two-wheeled odyssey with a steed named Kenevo, courtesy of the wizards at North Side Cycles. Picture this: a bike shop not just selling dreams on wheels but peddling (pun intended!) unparalleled customer service. The owner, a true gentleman of the cycle realm, waved his magic wand and made my rental fee vanish into the purchase price of my Kenevo. Talk about a spellbinding start! Then came the moment when my Kenevo yearned for a transformation. I desired forks not of the dinner table variety, but an upgraded pair of triple clamps. The owner, in his infinite wisdom and accommodating spirit, made it happen faster than you can say “Zoom!”. Fast forward to today, every time my Kenevo returns from its spa day (a.k.a. service) at North Side Cycles, it’s like riding a brand-new bike. Their attention to detail? Fantastic is an understatement. It’s like they use a fine-tooth comb, but for bikes! In the world of ‘value for money’, they’re the reigning champions. Thank you to Kurt and the team for your time answering questions, educating me and building the Allez in the magnificent Blue Lagoon. As a first time road cyclist, I love the bike. I'll be sure to make the trip more often from the Central Coast to upgrade the components. Thanks again Kurt and the team for your fantastic service.

Communication: I went to the store for one of my spoke was broken and I was suggested to do a deluxe service due to my bike's overall condition and more cost effective. The staff patiently introduced the wheel truing, brake bleading, front fork 50 hours maintaining, and overall inspection for my bike and was told the price range clearly. Several days later, I was received a quota for chain, chainring, casstte, and head bearing replacement, extra $400+ will be needed for drivetrain parts. Considering my budget and possible upgrade in the near future, I only accepted the extra head bearing replacement. Quality: Pro: The front fork was maintained The brake was bleeded as described Con: Please see the pictures for details. Deluxe service as their website mentioned: "A complete General Service Cassette, chain, derailleurs and cranks all degreased in an eco-friendly chemical bath Frame cleaned and detailed" For me, it's totally unacceptable standard of deluxe servie. Five star for good communication, four star for front fork, and brake maintainance, but zero for the chemical bath and frame cleaned and detailed.

Adam, Pete, Chook, Kurt and the staff at Cyclery Northside are awesome, the shop always has what you need and the crew are super knowledgeable and very helpful. I Love all my bikes that I brought from the Team at Cyclery Northside 😎
