I cannot recommend this café. We waited over 45 minutes for our breakfast, which was already disappointing. After asking about our order, the food finally arrived, but one meal came with completely burnt toast. It was so burnt that it shouldn’t have been served at all, yet the staff insisted that it was “normal sourdough toast” and still edible… The second dish was advertised with feta, but the feta was completely missing. On top of that, the entire meal was extremely oily and practically inedible. We still paid for our drinks, which was fair, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing. Overall, the long wait, poor food quality, and dismissive response from the staff👀

What a fantastic find in Surry Hills. We had an incredible brunch here and everything was cooked perfectly. The presentation of the plates is beautiful, especially the way they garnish the dishes with vibrant slices of watermelon radish. The food was fresh and flavourful, and the coffee was excellent too. It is such a great spot to sit back and enjoy a meal. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely cafe! We felt so welcomed from the second we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us with such warm smiles. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Biscoff French Toast and my partner had the signature Crispy Hash Browns, both dishes were so flavourful and wonderfully presented. We left already knowing we’ll definitely be back. The menu had so many other yummy options we can’t wait to try. Highly recommend visiting Dad and the Frog Cafe!

This little cafe is so chill! with its own shaded seats in the alley. The staffs are very friendly from the get-go. Food and coffee are simply delicious. My burger has a crispy homemade hashbrown in it and my mocha is thick and tasty! The woman staff is Thai in which I can easily communicate with her in both language. They even help us move the table to a more comfortable seats when we asked for. Greenery environment of this street and the soft music from the café are also very soothing. 10/10 score and I recommend this place!

Excellent breakfast cafe. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Food presentation and flavour was 10/10. They have a unique style to their breakfast menu that makes it a bit different but still the same breakfast essentials you love. Would recommend for a quick breakfast before work and an extended dine in for weekends.
