My visit to Dale Street Medical Specialists began with a warm and professional welcome from the reception staff, particularly Brigette. Dr Patrick Coleman was thoroughly familiar with all aspects of my medical history and approached my consultation with great care and attention. His comprehensive review of my medications, together with his detailed explanation of the underlying considerations, was particularly impressive. He took the time to explain everything in clear, simple language that was easy for a layperson to understand. This, in my view, is the essence of excellent communication between a doctor and patient. I feel privileged to be under the care of Dr Coleman. He is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also personable, compassionate and genuinely caring. It is reassuring to know that I am in such excellent hands.

I had my first consultation with Dr. Patrick Coleman at the Dale Street Medical Specialist on 1 June 2026. Firstly, seeking an appointment was refreshingly easy and welcoming. Clear alternatives to suit were offered. Upon confirmation, I received clearly written and detailed information regarding pre-visit preparation as well as instructions to bring in all the medications I was taking to the consult for evaluation and assessment for suitability. The anticipated charges were also clearly explained. I have the history of all my medical procedures and diagnostics on the My Health website and was totally impressed that Dr. Coleman had a comprehensive review of my medical history going back several years. Dr. Coleman explained in readily understood terms, the variations in my health status along the way. In a very caring and empathetic manner he carried out physical examination communicating his findings effectively and proposing the best next steps in modifying my medications and requesting relevant tests to assess his recommendation for a future re-assessment. I had the extreme good fortune of being referred to Dr Coleman by my GP. It was obvious, right from the start, that he had thoroughly pre-prepared for my visit. He knew everything about my medical history going back more than 20 years and apparently had spent several hours the previous night reading through all my files to compile a comprehensive overview of my medical situation. His knowledge of how medications interact with each other was amazing and I walked out with several changes to mine. I have never before been so immediately impressed with any doctor's knowledge and diligence - and he's a really nice bloke as well! Thank you Dr Coleman.

I highly recommend Doctor Patrick Coleman, Kidney Specialist, having been a patient for many years including my appointment two days ago. I am 81 years’ old and keeping well. His knowledge is impressive and I feel confident to be in his care. With his easy going manner, the results of my condition explained to me so I fully understand is a blessing. I trust him completely. Keeping my other doctors and specialists up-to-date with my health issues is important to him. Behind the front desk I found his secretary Brigette smiling and friendly. The office is easily accessible with undercover parking.

I recently saw Dr Keith Tish at Dale Street Medical Specialists, and he is by far one of the best specialists I’ve ever had. He focuses on Cancer Prevention of the Bowel and Oesophagus, and the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Liver Disease, and his knowledge and calm, reassuring manner make all the difference. Dr Tish made the whole experience comfortable — I didn’t even feel the needle. He even played music in the theatre to help me relax, including The Sound of Silence by Disturbed, which was incredibly powerful. What truly stands out is his genuine care, his down-to-earth nature, and the way he treats you like a real person, not just a patient. The team at Dale Street Medical Specialists is equally professional, friendly, and supportive.
