Complete rip off, went in there to get a tyre repaired, and where the screw was in the tread I was advised 'it couldn't be repaired and the tyre needed replacing' fair enough. I was quoted $180 for a no-name, cheapest tyre for a 225/40/R18. As I was unwell due to cancer treatment, I unfortunately did not have the energy to take it anywhere else, so reluctantly I went ahead. A couple of weeks later when I was feeling better I had a look online and found that I can buy 'no name' tyre for $89 fitted. Please shop around people, tempe tyres are much better priced and located in Parra as well. To top it off they didn't even put the Aircon in the waiting room on for any of the customer's, on a hot January Day, it was cooler standing outside in the sun (which is great for person undergoing treatment when the Dr says I'm not supposed to spend time in direct sunlight)......The guy was nice, but not $91 extra nice. Oh and they over inflated all my tyres to 41psi as well. So over inflated price and over inflated tyres.

I strongly recommend never coming to Direct Tyre and Mechanical Repairs. I visited to have a leak checked. One of the mechanics, Dan, initially appeared willing to help. However, the mechanic manager, Adam, came out and—without even inspecting the vehicle—immediately accused someone of tampering with my car and refused to touch it. I insisted several times and asked for help, requesting that they at least have a look at the issue. Despite this, Adam remained dismissive and unwilling to assist in any way. This occurred at 3:20pm on a Wednesday, well within business hours. Instead of helping, I was told to call a tow truck and have the car removed. I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional and unhelpful attitude from a service provider. The equipment and approach feel outdated, and the customer service is even worse. If you value basic professionalism and respectful treatment, take your business elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience at Direct Tire Shop recently. I came in with a punctured tire, and the person at the front desk was incredibly rude and obnoxious from the start. When I calmly shared my opinion on the situation, instead of listening, he arrogantly threw down the form board he was using to take details — completely unprofessional behaviour. To make matters worse, I was there with my partner who had just returned from the hospital. I even apologized in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, but he refused to listen and continued to act aggressively. In the end, we were so uncomfortable and disrespected that we had no choice but to walk away. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There’s no excuse for treating customers this way — especially in a stressful moment when help and basic decency are all that’s needed.

Amazing help from the team at reasonable prices! Got a flat tyre locally and couldn't drive home, the team fit me in immediately and had the stock! Definitely will be a returning customer as proven quality service!!! Thanks again, team!

The boys at Direct Tyre Sales looked after me, my VY SS had staggered rims with odd ball rear rims the boys ordered them and withing 3 hours the tyres were delivered, balanced fitted and aligned all at a great price. I highly recommend them and their great service! Cheers!

Adam helps with my decisions making and giving an excellent and professional advice and options for me to take, efficient service very quick and guarantee professional service, Adam insures what’s best for the safety, and he answered all my concerns and questions without hesitation.
