I was with Daisy and she is the sweetest!! I got advices, recommendations, and even awesome hacks for my hair. So lovely!! This is my second time here and aaalways love the service, and of course the result! Definitely will come back for hairdye touch up and also the treatment. This hair studio is aaamazing! ❤️❤️✨

For my third visit, I had my hair done by Austin today and it turned out better than I had imagined! I showed him some reference hairstyles that I wanted to blend together and I really appreciated his input on what would look better on me. The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the salon itself is so comfy and chill that I didn’t even realize 3 hours had already passed LOL The staff informed me of the steps being taken during the perm and treatment which I also appreciate. Worst salon experience I’ve ever had (and I don’t say that lightly)! I booked three days in advance with a stylist named Leo at DK Hair Haymarket for an 11:00am haircut and colour. I arrived at 10:58am, I greeted the staff politely, and confirmed my appointment. Right from the start, the service felt off. I was told to “just sit inside”, and as a first-time customer, I sat in one of the cutting chairs. The staff member then raised her voice at me, saying “NO NO NOT HERE, sit inside on the couch,” in a tone that felt more like scolding than guiding. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary! I’m an adult, and it was my first time there. I waited until around 11:20am before being told they couldn’t reach Leo and that another stylist would assist me instead. Since I was already there, I agreed. My new stylist, Hyori, started the haircut, and around 12:02pm Leo casually walked in. No explanation, no apology. The colouring process was where things really went downhill. There was no basic preparation by Hyori, no protective ointment applied around my hairline (which is standard practice in most Korean/Japanese salons to remove staining easily). Unsurprisingly, I ended up with horrible visible
