I had a wonderful experience under Dr Morris’ care. He was knowledgeable, understanding, patient, supportive and tailored his care to my specific needs. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing an endocrinologist.

My wife was diagnosed by Dr Morris in 2002 with Type 1 Diabetes after an illness. She was told she was in the "honeymoon" period and only required 2 units of insulin. This went on for 8 years. She stopped taking insulin herself and nothing changed, she did not tell him she had stopped to see what would come of it, he continued to tell her she was in the honeymoon phase. In 2013 she obtained a second opinion and was told she did not meet the criteria for a diagnosis. Due to an issue as to whether it was her GP or Dr Morris that made the formal diagnosis she was unable to pursue this further. We will never know whether the taking of insulin for so long did any damage. When we asked him about it following the updated diagnosis or confirmation of misdiagnosis he said that he was treating her based on the GP diagnosis, not his own diagnosis and therefore she needed to complain about the GP. Apparently being a specialist doesn't require you to question a GPs referral.
