I rarely write reviews, but I had such a great experience with the staff that I just had to share it. I came in to swap my Switch over to the Switch 2. They were so kind and patient in letting me transfer over my data instore. As well as informing me of all my options. Massive shout out to Jason and Gavin!

Very poor customer service. I bought 2 items om ebgames online store at a discount price for cheap tuesday, the hustville store had stock when i purchased but had a error and didnt have the item in stock. They then refunded me and told me that they can get it sent from another store but I have to pay full price since the promotion is now over. This error only happenned because hurstville staff put an incorrect quantity in their system which showed they had stock when they didn’t. If this error never occurred another store would have sent the items out instead. They decided to not honour the origional price I paid nor give any sort of good will gesture. I have spent 1000s of dollars at ebgames in the last month and will now take my money elsewhere.

The employees are amazing people and are always extremely helpful and there’s a lot of great cheap deals too. It’s always got a good stock as well.

Thank you to the worker on friday 13 march 2026 who kept as safe when the alarm was activated in the centre that there was an armed person. Very grateful and thankful, even if it was just a test that wasn't mentioned to anyone!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in expecting a normal retail experience. Instead, it felt like I’d accidentally walked into an off-Broadway audition no one asked for. Woke style. The staff member was unbelievably over-the top and pushy. Not enthusiastic. It didn’t feel like customer service it felt like being cornered into an awkward interaction you couldn’t escape. There were literal kids in the store who looked unsure and uncomfortable, and even parents seemed visibly put off. When your vibe is strong enough to clear aisles, maybe it’s time to reassess. If someone wants help, offer it. If they’re browsing, let them breathe. This was none of that. This was Ru Paul Temu. Would not return. Would not recommend. And genuinely hope management rethinks what they consider engaging customer service vs circus performers. Thanks but no thank you Clara
