Had a great experience at GJ06! The restaurant has a unique black-and-white theme with authentic Indian-inspired décor that creates a lovely atmosphere. The food was good overall, with the chai tea being the standout—it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. The Frankie was absolutely amazing and definitely a must-try. The chaat was decent but could be improved a little in terms of flavor and presentation. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great service throughout our visit. Overall, a nice Indian eatery with good food, original décor, and welcoming staff. Looking forward to visiting again!

I called beforehand to ask if I need to make a booking, since we were surprising a friend for a birthday I wanted to be sure. The lady on the phone said that reservation is not required and we can just walk in. But the story was something else once we reached there. Tables were reserved and we were asked to vacate a table coz it was “booked” and we had to wait outside for a while. Team, please make sure you coordinate amongst yourselves if you take reservations or not to avoid such inconveniences to customers in future. The guy across the counter was apologetic and had some courtesy, so thank you 🙏🏻 After that initial hiccup, everything else was good 😊 we had chai with toast, indore poha, dabeli and Bombay sandwich. Enjoyed it all! Space is cramped, there is outside seating available and the drawings on the walls and colours of chairs are the 2D factor. I wanted to take photos but coz of the seating confusion, I forgot. Ambience is pleasant though. Also bought the soft pau they bake, wow, that was almost like Bombay pau, thank you team 🙏🏻

GJ06 was a nice little café, I’m not sure why the Bun Maska is popular. It looked good, but I found the taste quite plain. The filling between the bread didn’t have a rich buttery flavour and tasted like lower-quality butter. It also wasn’t sweet as I expected. And with that very thick layer of butter… probably a lot of calories for something that didn’t taste that special. Overall, it looked better than it tasted for me.

Really nice Indian café with authentic taste. The sav usal full of flavours like back in GJ06 ( baroda) and the chai was perfect. Portions were good for the price and the place had a relaxed vibe. Good spot if you want a quick but tasty meal. The muska bun full of MASKA(butter).

A veg restaurant for indian street style food. Would surely recommend. Things we tired 1. Bun mask my fav, gives nostalgia feeling 2. Pani puri, is good 3. Vada pav, must try 4. Paneer puff, is good 5. Pav bhaji, is good, could have been more spicy 6. Veg bombay grilled sandwich, must try 7. Katka dabeli, is good 8. Regards ragda pani puri, ragda is so flavourful, suppresses flavour of pani, I would recommend to have regular pani puri and ragda separately. 9. Bhungda bateta - potato in spicy gravy, could be missed 10. GJ06 club sandwich - could be missed, a better option Bombay veg grilled sandwich. Also ladi pav is available for purchase. Overall the food was good in taste, quantity and quality 👌
