I’m originally from Brazil and every time I come to Sydney, this place is an absolute must for me and my family. I’ve tried falafel all over the world, but nothing compares!! Always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying 🤌 What I love even more is that it’s super affordable, which makes it so easy to keep coming back. My kids are obsessed with the falafel and fateh, which says alot because they can be very picky! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and it feels a little tradition us now whenever we visit. The owner is also very generous when it comes to portion sizing and to the girls and the staff that always serve me and my family are the absolute sweetest. I will be coming back to Australia for this gem! 👌

I live in Brisbane and whenever I'm in Sydney, this is my must-visit spot. They serve some of the best falafel I’ve had — perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, fluffy, and delicious on the inside, exactly how falafel should be. The portions are generous, and they even include complimentary extras like pickles or tahini, which is a lovely touch. The owner is incredibly friendly and genuinely hospitable; I honestly haven’t been to another place where the owner is this warm and welcoming. Thank you for such a great experience!

First tried this place in 2015 when I worked in the area, and returning in 2025, the quality is still exceptional. I get the falafel wrap and I reckon it’s the best falafel wrap ever. Price is affordable too. Falafel is always fresh, perfectly crispy, light & full of flavour. Tomatoes are sweet and juicy, with the pickles and herbs balanced beautifully. I take a photo of the wrap each visit because it’s that good & worth savouring. Grateful to the Hammoud 1 team for remaining consistently delicious and reliable over the years.

If you’re in Liverpool and craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors, this place is an absolute must! Tucked away in a modest, down-to-earth setting, this spot serves some of the best falafel and hummus I’ve ever had in Sydney. What makes it stand out is not just the food (which is always fresh, flavorful, and made with love), but the hospitality. The owner is incredibly generous he often offers us extra portions or little treats on the house. It’s rare to find that kind of warm, welcoming spirit these days! Prices are extremely affordable, especially considering how expensive the area can be. It’s honestly one of the best-value meals you can find around here. 🅿️ Bonus: There’s free parking available behind the restaurant for up to an hour super convenient if you’re popping in for a quick bite. If you’re looking for honest breakfast that hits the spot every time, this place delivers. Highly recommended!
