Exceptional care since 2010! Iβve been a patient at Hurstville Town Medical Centre since 2010. Specifically want to praise Dr. Ramanee. I've seen some negative reviews, but to me, he is a brilliant, highly professional doctor who found my early-stage cancer and saved my life by getting me the right treatment. Every time I come in, the girls at reception are really good and professional, the pathology staff are fantastic, and the other GPs are excellent too. There might be a long queue ahead of you sometimes, but for this busy location and great care you are getting, itβs completely understandable. Thank you to the whole team.

I've been a patient of Dr Ramanee and this clinic for 15+ years and sometimes in his absence have seen other attending doctors like Dr Sadiq or very recently Dr Begum and am intending to do so in the future. Quite frankly when today I've had a chance to see some of these reviews, I'm shocked. As for the receptionist I have nothing to say but being thankful (sometimes you need to put yourself in their shoes dealing all day with all kinds of peopleβ¦) Regarding the nurses I have to say that I've seen nothing but professionalism. As for the waiting time, yes it happens sometimes depending on the number of patients attending since it's a Bulk Bill practice. Frankly, I think they can do with some renovations.

Iβve been attending Hurstville Town Medical Centre for many years, receptionists are so friendly, the two nurses at the centre are so professional, my GP at the centre is Dr. RAMANEE SERMARAN who listens to me carefully and answers all my questions, he is vey knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended!

I visited the centre years ago and my usual Doctor was on holidays so asked to see next available which was Dr Ramenee. The centre was not busy. After 1 hour waiting and seeing the Doctor with his door wide open. I said when will the Doctor see me as there was no other patients waiting and there were whispers with reception and Manager on duty. I spoke to the Manager who said he refused to see me as he didn't know me although this is my usual medical centre. Frustrated I left and had to find another medical centre who prescribed medicine to treat my illness hours later.

I share the experiences that other reviewers have left generally in delays and attitude. ALL a bit woeful overall My experience left much to be desired. CLINICAL SETTING Firstly the overall appearance of the Clinic leaves a lot to be desired -- as it looks like it needs professional cleaning top to bottom. Just looks dirty ; especially the floor carpet. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Secondly I noted that communication between staff / doctors needs improvement especially with patients. Needs a whole review of process with effective and efficient customer/patient care given a new professional focus to meet expectations. DELAYS : There appears to be very extensive delays in seeing patients that are unnecessary delays. I waited about 2 hours for a mere 3 minute long consultation. Perplexing? Generally it seems the systems they have are outmoded or not implemented properly. I contemplated that it could be a lack of senior management input as counter staff seemed a little jaded and unmotivated to me. They were pretty unfriendly. No smiles here ! LOCATION Does indeed have a handy train - station location but regretfully they are slow in service to patients in need. Not sure why they are
