For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.
Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 4 pmβ12 am. Hours in Australia do change around public holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Only ever briefly visited Manly so was unsure whether to book my birthday dinner at this venue. Ticked all the boxes. Relaxed but vibing, menu on point, cocktails never missed a beat. I initially messaged on insta to check whether it was all good to have the kids join for dinner and received a friendly, prompt response. Staff and chef were happy to accommodate where possible. We will definitely be back when back in the area and will highly recommend to all x

We came to bottomless brunch with Carmen Geta. Best bingo brunch ever! It was so well run, we were entertained and laughing non stop. Food was also great and the cocktails were awesome. Apple crumble cocktail was life changing

Random place. Seems like its main goal on weekend is to sell bottomless brunches not food. The salad we ordered was really bleak- iceberg lettuce and very few toppings - we sent it back and it marginally improved. The pizza was served burnt- by that stage, wed given up- but I dont think ive ever been served burnt pizza. Id avoid if you want food

Really nice spot for a drink, their signature apple crumble cocktail is a must try! The food was good, we had some crispy squid which was nicely fried and crunchy. Just to note the fried stuff such as the squid and fries is not coeliac safe as they are in a shared fryer even though itβs marked gluten free. We also ordered the calabrese salami pizza with a gluten free base, the toppings were excellent but the base had a really hard crust. It was still nice to be able to enjoy a safe gluten free pizza with my partner. Definitely will be back for drinks in the future, the food menu could be a bit more extensive but do appreciate they have options for coeliacs.
