For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–9 pm. Hours in Australia do change around public holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (02) 9262 2412. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a mobile. Its website is jordonsseafood.com.au, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 4,305 reviews, which is a strong result for a seafood restaurant in Sydney and suggests consistent service.

Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Getting around Sydney is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy centres, and most suburban shops have their own car park. Public transport and ride-share apps such as Uber and DiDi operate across New South Wales's larger cities.

What an incredible night at Jordon’s Seafood on Darling Harbour! Took the whole family and a few friends there for a special dinner and it was perfect. The location right on the water is stunning, especially watching the lights come on as the sun sets. We got a big table outside and it felt like a proper celebration. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The chargrilled octopus was tender and smoky, the lobster was sweet and beautifully cooked, and the big seafood platter went down a treat — super fresh oysters, prawns, and fish that tasted like it came straight off the boat. Even the sides were excellent, especially those crispy smashed potatoes everyone kept stealing! The service was warm and friendly, and they handled our big group really well without rushing us. The atmosphere is relaxed but still has that nice harbour-side vibe — ideal for catching up with family and friends. Bit of a splurge but totally worth it for the quality and the experience. The kids even enjoyed it (which is saying something!). We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re after fresh seafood with that classic Sydney harbour backdrop. Perfect spot for a group! 10/10 night ❤️ (Visited July

An absolute must-visit if you're in Sydney and love seafood! Everything was outstanding from the incredibly fresh and delicious seafood to the amazing cocktails. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the views are absolutely stunning and create the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. If you're visiting Sydney, don't miss this place. It's the perfect combination of incredible seafood, fantastic drinks, outstanding service, and one of the most beautiful views in the city. Highly recommend!

Stayed near the harbour and noticed this restaurant was just a short 10-minute walk away, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered their signature Crust Fish Chowder, Kilpatrick oysters, and a local beer. The service was thoughtful—the waitress kindly offered to serve the oysters first while the chowder was being prepared, or to bring both together. We chose to have them served together, which meant a slightly longer wait, likely because the chowder was made fresh. Overall, the fish chowder was really good—rich, comforting, and the portion was generous enough to share between two people. The Kilpatrick oysters were tasty, but a little disappointing in size as they were quite small. Still, a nice spot for a casual seafood meal near the harbour.

I feel may have been caught in a bit of tourist trap restaurant here. Location is stunning in the day however at night you have to be in the right spot to get maximum views. Food is fine - see many tables getting the $300 tower - maybe that was the only way to go - but the dishes we ordered were just fine. Service was slow after we ordered, with me having to go to the bar to pay the bill. We’ve had Great experiences around Sydney and this didn’t match up.

Had such a lovely dinner at Jordan’s in Sydney ✨ The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish — perfect for a date night or a cozy dinner with friends. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We ordered the grilled whole fish, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, served with fresh salad and a light olive oil dressing. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and well-seasoned, and the sweet potato fries were crispy and addictive (especially with the creamy dipping sauce!). Everything tasted fresh and beautifully presented. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again in Sydney 💛 Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, good vibes, and a relaxed dining experience.
