I’ve had two frustrating visits to this clinic, both due to the same receptionist’s lack of professionalism. On my first visit, I arrived on time but was made to wait nearly two hours because she had incorrectly booked me in the wrong time slot. No apology, no explanation—just a long, unnecessary delay. On my second visit, I was again punctual, yet she allowed late-arriving patients to be seen before me. It’s unclear why this staff member is still in charge of bookings and front desk duties. Her phone etiquette was also poor—loud, unclear, and at times dismissive—while I sat waiting to be called. This level of disorganization and disregard for patient time is unacceptable. I hope the clinic seriously reviews its front desk operations.

I'm truly disappointed to be writing this review, especially after being a loyal patient at this clinic for over 15 years. The doctors here have always been exceptional — kind, patient, and genuinely caring. It's heartbreaking that such a great medical team is let down by the behavior of one of their front desk staff. During a recent visit with my mum, we were spoken to by the receptionist in a tone that was impatient, rude, and unnecessarily condescending. We initially communicated with her in Mandarin, and her response was egotistical and judgmental. When we mentioned we had booked appointments for two people, she immediately dismissed us and claimed she couldn't fit us in — despite our GP later welcoming us without issue. When I switched to English and asked, "Is there a problem here? Why are you being so rude and impatient?" her attitude changed immediately. It became very clear that her demeanor was tied to the language we were speaking. This experience left me thinking about all the elderly, first-generation Chinese patients — like many local grandmas and grandpas — who might not have the ability to advocate for themselves in English. I was shocked by this clinic last Friday. Strongly advise everyone not to go there. It was pouring rain outside, but the receptionist aggressively shouted at patients and kicked them out. She also imposed a bunch of demands on those feeling unwell. Her attitude was extremely rude. Patients are already upset when they are sick. I have never seen such a clinic before. Save yourselves some time and stay away.

Two years ago, my young son needed treatment. He was an existing patient at the centre. They said “you haven’t been here for 2 years, so you’re a new patient. $50”. They printed a receipt on the back of someone else’s private patient data about a sexual disease. Today I fell in the rain and needed urgent treatment. They said “you haven’t been here for 4 years. $100. It would have been better to bleed on the footpath outside. The receptionist is cold and horrible at her job. Avoid the centre if at all possible.

Dr James Chong and Dr Soo Chan Lee has been our family doctor for the past 10 years, even we moved to another area. Very professional, responsible and approachable. You might need to book in and wait as both doctors will give thorough and details advise. The centre is clean and strategically located. Highly recommended
