We cannot recommend Kookaburra Kindergarten highly enough. We’ve had both of our sons attend Kookaburra from the Joey/Babies room through to 2026, starting back in 2022, and it has truly been a second home for our family. The only reason we are leaving is because our oldest is starting school elsewhere and we are moving out of the area — otherwise, we would absolutely continue care for our youngest without hesitation. The Kelly family (owners) are incredibly hands-on and genuinely invested in the children, families, and educators. That care flows through the entire centre. Angelina, the Centre Director, has been exceptional — always caring, approachable, and just a phone call or email away. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests and make things work for families. One of the things we’ve loved most is the small, boutique environment. You really get to know everyone — educators, families, and kids — and it naturally creates a strong sense of community. We’ve formed some wonderful family friendships just by bumping into each other at drop-off and pick-up throughout the year. An excellent center! My daughter attended Kookaburra for nearly three years. There are excellent teachers and the preschool program meets all of my daughter's needs. She learned so much, and it felt like a home away from home.

We have the pleasure of sending our daughter to Kookaburra Childcare for over a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The teachers are incredibly kind, positive, and attentive, providing both physical and emotional support that has helped our daughter thrive. It's clear that they truly care about each child's well-being. One of the things we love most is how the teachers engage the children in fun and creative activities like handcrafts. Our daughter brings home beautiful pieces of artwork that are not only adorable but also a reflection of the nurturing environment at Kookaburra. It’s such a lovely way to see her growth and creativity! The communication with parents is also excellent. We always feel well-informed and involved in our daughter’s learning and development, and the staff is always open to any questions or concerns we might have. We have been with the Kookaburra family for 8 years and it was so sad to say goodbye as my little one started school last month. Choosing this daycare was the best decision we ever made. From the fantastic leadership of Joy, Cassie and Merlin to the amazing cooking from Houda to the love and care from all of the educators throughout the years, it became our second home. It was so comforting to know that while we were working, our kids were being treated with such care and kindness by the team there. Every staff member has a genuine love of children and treats them like their own kids. Both of my girls loved going to daycare every day and were both sad to leave. That is a testament to everyone that makes up the Kookaburra family and we are going to miss going there every day. Thank you so much guys for everything you have done for our family over the years!

Brings back lots of memories of my child and his childhood 7 years later after he graduated from here (2019). We still look back on the best kindergarten we could have ever gave our son. We are so thankful that this place still runs even after 7 years, hopefully Holda still works here as a cook, my son said she made the best pumpkin stew and to all the teachers that where there thank you for such a great experience over the years.
