Nice place with a relaxing atmosphere and good service, but it fell short of expectations. I paid $65 for a men’s crew cut (my hair was relatively short but thick), but only the sides were properly cut with clippers, while the middle, top, and front received minimal trimming. It hasn’t even been a week, and I already feel like I need another haircut. Despite asking several times for it to be trimmed shorter, the result still didn’t match what I requested, so I chose not to push the issue further. It felt like they either didn’t know what a crew cut was or simply didn’t care. Overall, it felt expensive for the amount of work done. They need to improve the quality of their service to justify their prices rather than focus on upselling.

The salon has a calm and beautifully maintained atmosphere, which makes every visit very relaxing. You can really tell that they are particular about the products they use, from the shampoo to other materials, and the lovely scent throughout the salon is incredibly soothing. During each haircut, they carefully check the length and volume multiple times, making sure the result matches what you’re looking for. I’ve seen some reviews saying the result wasn’t what they expected, but honestly, it’s quite rare to find a salon that takes this much care to confirm details. I feel that clear communication plays a big role in the final outcome. My personal favorite is the head spa💆‍♀️The massage is absolutely amazing and melts away all my fatigue. I’ve also seen comments mentioning that the conversation is minimal, but for me, I value skill, attention to detail, and a relaxing experience above all else. I’ve been coming here for over 7 years and wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality service and a truly calming experience.💇‍♀️

My family and I have been coming to this salon for more than 10 years but I’m so sad my hair has been absolutely ruined I asked for a blonde balayage and my hair turned out blueish green and sooo damaged my ends all snapped off and I lost like 5cm Of hair and it’s so thin it’s completely see through. I’m so sad I’m only a teenager and I care so much about my looks and I feel like my confidence has been completely crushed. This is the ugliest I’ve ever felt My hair is ruined :(

The worst experience if you don’t have Asian or typical Aussie hair. Honestly, so much went wrong that I don’t even know where to start. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt I had to share, especially given how highly rated this salon is. 1. I have thick, long South Asian hair. That alone should signal to a stylist that my hair needs to be prepped and styled differently, with more conditioning and moisture. This is not something I should have to explain. If working with this hair type is not within your skill set, that should be communicated upfront. 2. At the very start of the appointment, I clearly told my stylist that I wanted volume in my bangs. Despite this, she thinned them out. By the time I asked what she was doing, the thinning was already done. Hair takes months to grow back, and making a permanent change like this without checking or asking first felt careless and unfair. 3. I am new to Sydney and wanted to try this salon with the intention of becoming a regular because my salon in NYC was also Japanese. I usually get a blowout about once a month and have had great experiences where the style lasted for days because the s

The entire experience was so gentle and chill; from the calm, relaxed vibe of the place to the way they washed my hair (actual care, not aggressive shampooing). The staff were incredibly professional, really listened to what I wanted, and handled my hair with so much attention. The cut was immaculate, my hair has never behaved this well, and I felt genuinely looked after. 10/10 would trust them with my identity again.”
