Warning, the pharmacist here will lie to you in order to push alternative brand medicines. I went in this morning to get two scripts filled & I specifically asked if the two medicines she had labelled up and was handing to me were substitutes to what was prescribed: she replied 'no they're not'. I trusted her at her word but once home, I did an online search of what I was sold only to realise she had completely deceived me. It's unacceptable for a chemist to not honour the customer's choice to stick with the exact brand of medicine that has been prescribed by their practitioner.

I had a really disappointing experience at this pharmacy. I was bitten by a tick on my arm and it was still attached. A friend told me to go to a pharmacy for help — either to remove it or at least to get some proper advice. When I walked in, the place was empty, definitely not a busy moment. I spoke to the staff member at the counter, but he barely acknowledged me. He just nodded, didn’t say a single word, didn’t offer any advice, and didn’t even suggest a product or explain how to remove the tick safely. I was honestly shocked by his reaction. For a second I wondered if I had walked into a convenience store by mistake. Totally unhelpful and highly unprofessional. If you can’t give basic advice, why are you working in a pharmacy? And people worry about AI replacing human jobs — well, some people are really making the case for it. It can’t come fast enough.

I had a bad experience with Chemist Warehouse losing my script, taking much longer than expected and then asking me to stay longer while one chemist consulted another. I took back my script and came to Malouf. "Jogi" at Maloufs was super helpful, not only did she dispense quickly and efficiently, she also guided us to something else that would also help the symptoms. Friendly and warm team. I'll be getting my prescriptions filled here from now on.

I used to love this pharmacy, so helpful and friendly and personal service. However I’ve had a terrible experience in the last 24 hours and Alan was extremely rude to me as a result of his colleagues messing up an important script order. No apology just blaming me and his colleagues and saying it wasn’t his problem as he doesn’t own it anymore and complaining about the system. I was left shocked and upset by how rude he was and his complete lack of care that I wouldn’t now get the script on time. Will be going elsewhere in the future.

10/10 customer service - we got our newborn passport photos through Malouf Pharmacy. Their service and knowledge is outstanding. A very friendly team there and great baby passport photos! I could not recommend this pharmacy enough.
