Misleading Delivery Estimates and Extremely Disappointing Customer Service My experience with MCM House has been extremely disappointing and has left me with very little confidence in the company. I placed an order for a bed because the website clearly stated an estimated delivery of mid-June. This delivery timeframe was a significant factor in my decision to purchase. However, immediately after I completed the purchase and paid in full, my order confirmation was updated to mid-August—a two-month delay that was never disclosed before payment. When I contacted customer service, I was simply referred to the Terms & Conditions stating that delivery dates are "estimates only." While I understand that unforeseen delays can occur, advertising one delivery timeframe to secure a sale and then changing it immediately after payment is, in my opinion, misleading and not what I would expect from a premium furniture retailer. To make matters worse, I was told that if I wished to cancel my order because of the significantly delayed delivery, I would be charged a 20% cancellation fee. If you buy a lounge from here, expect to wait an extra 2-3 months on top of the timeline they promise you it will arrive by. Our sofa has been “ready for dispatch” since June 4. It’s almost August, no sofa.

We have had the best experience ordering our new lounge with the help from Christian D at the Paddington showroom. He has been so helpful from our first visit, all the back and forth on styles and fabrics before finally making our purchase. Top notch customer service and we are so appreciative of his help!

I tried about every sofa in Sydney. Alongside Natadora in Trithouse, MCM were by far the most comfortable. The cushioning is firm. They don't sink and give you a bad back. Went with the Parkha Modular and couldn't be happier. The linen upholstery is beautiful. I just wish my living room was bigger so I could have bought more modules. Thanks to Maria and the others in store who were helpful but left us alone too.

Absolutely stoked with my experience with MCM house. I adore my selected lounge. I was kept up to date about its dispatch and to my delight it came earlier than expected by 4 weeks! Alina was excellent to work with and very patient. My lounge is sooooo comfortable and perfect for my new house! MCM house came highly reviewed from friends and I know why!
