Very abrupt, rude man serving. I went in to enquire about replacing a battery in an inexpensive watch I purchased for my son, and potentially replacing the glass watch face on my own watch. The man was very abrupt and unfriendly and informed me curtly that it would be at least $30 to replace the battery and that it didn’t matter if it was a kids watch. He started shaking his head immediately about the watch face and when I tried to clarify if it was something they could do, he said “not for ovals”, it would have to be sent to a watch maker and cost at least $85 to do so (so potentially it could be done, but perhaps he was trying to say it wouldn’t be worth it for the price?) To be clear, I was actually fine with the prices or if something could not be done - it’s just that the customer service was so rude/ unfriendly. I feel like the word “no” was coming out before I’d even finished speaking and that he was very reluctant to even speak to me. I left with the distinct impression that I was a bother/ wasting his time and that the man did not want my business. Very disappointing as I’ve used the same Mr Minit in previous years and had excellent service. I’m also not one to leave Googl

All available information tells me this place closes at 9pm on a Thursday. I arrived at 7.50pm with a specific problem to discuss. Guy has emptied the till, presumably to reconcile. Till is empty and hanging open. Some equipment is covered, other equipment is yet to be put away. I was declined service. "We're closed." I enquired about the 9pm information. "That must be from COVID times." (I write in June 2026) Then my experience just deteriorated from there. "I was recommended to come here," I say. "Why would they say that?" Unhelpful. Evidently, spoiling for an argument. Zero stars for zero service, but I have to provide at least one star to be able to post. I'd be disinclined to return to Mr Minit Westfield Bondi Junction, or to recommend them. Reflects poorly on all of the rest of the fine Mr Minit staff I've ever dealt with over the years.

Noorma is an absolute gem super knowledgeable when it comes to watches and genuinely lovely to deal with. You can tell she really knows her stuff and takes the time to help properly. Highly recommend supporting this business they’ll look after you!

Rude staff here. Wanted to engrave a name on a water bottle which I had done before 4 times for my children. Explained that I’d like the writing following the logo. We talked about size and I left. Came back to find the name written backwards. Staff member insisted I asked for this - we never discussed the name being inside out and backwards. After my insistence the fee was refunded but the item was damaged. Went back a few days later to discuss with the manager and he was just as rude. The item was a gift and I should be replaced. The manager said I could buy another bottle and he’d charge me $55 again to engrave. The bottle itself is $65. When I suggested to him that the business should cover the engraving he said “it’s just a water bottle, to move out of the way because he has actual customers” The first photo show my name backwards and inside out. The second shows the direction of the photos and the last is an example of what I’ve done before at the same business. The rude ‘manager’ at the store said “it’s just a water bottle which” but if something means enough to someone that they are willing to spend $55 engraving then it’s more than just an object to them. I had a wonderful experience here. Dan resized my watch straps and replaced the band for another with no issues. They were super attentive and knowledgeable when explaining what kind of bands would suit a watch. Would highly recommend coming here for any watch services
