About Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown

Dhaba is a roadside eatery in the Indian Subcontinent mostly found in highways. It is well said that "The Dhaba moves wherever a Punjabi goes”. The first Punjabi Dhaba was presumably settled not long after the connecting of the urban communities of India by expressways (national, state and town streets). Dhaba’s were portrayed by mud structures and bunks to sit upon (charpai/moda) while eating. A wooden board would be put over the width of the bunk on which to place the dishes. With time, the beds were supplanted by tables. The food is normally economical and has a 'homemade' feel to it.

MITRAN DA DHABA is just not the name, it’s a real Dhaba experience.

I come here whenever I’m craving authentic dhaba-style food. The food is rustic dhaba-style rich, packed with bold masalas and flavour. This place has never disappointed me. It’s especially great for people who enjoy North Indian Punjabi-style food. However, ordering might be a bit tricky and the spice levels could be quite high for non-Indian diners. I particularly like the Chicken Tikka Masala with Lachha paratha, and I’m also a big fan of their Chole Bhature.

We visited Mitra Dhaba for lunch today, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and the aroma of authentic Indian food set the tone for a perfect afternoon meal. We ordered the Malai Chaap, which was absolutely delicious β€” soft, creamy, and perfectly marinated with authentic flavours that melted in the mouth. The Paneer dishes were equally amazing β€” fresh, flavorful, and cooked with the right balance of spices that reminded us of traditional North Indian dhaba-style food. The staff at Mitra Dhaba were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. The service was quick, and everything arrived hot and fresh. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant and the cheerful attitude of the team, which made our lunch even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Mitra Dhaba. The food, service, and ambiance were all perfect, and we could feel the love and effort put into every dish. Thank you so much to the entire team at Mitra Dhaba for such a wonderful meal β€” we’ll definitely be coming back soon with friends and family. Highly recommended!
